Disappointing Ticketing Experience at Hard Times Mine
I recently visited Hard Times Mine and had a great time on the tour - it was informative and fun! However, our experience was almost ruined by a frustrating ticketing issue.
Despite buying tickets on the official website few weeks in advance, we were told on arrival that they had oversold tickets to other families who bought tickets walk in. We were offered an alternative timeslot, but unfortunately, it didn't fit our tight schedule. After a lengthy disruption, they eventually honored our original timeslot.
The handling of this situation was disappointing. Overselling tickets shouldn't happen, and prioritizing later bookings over advance purchases isn't fair.
