I have been going to Bambinos cafe for breakfast on and off for the last couple years when I can visiting back in Mount Isa.
I have to admit it is a refreshing sight to see an establishment such as Bambinos as compared to what I’ve grown up with when living there.
I personally like sitting outside in the early morning whilst having my breakfast and a coffee however however if you like to sit inside there is plenty of room and seating inside which also has a nice ambiance.
There is quite a variety delights and selections to have for breakfast and lunch, I’m sure there’s a taste that suit everyone.
If you go into the website, you will see what I mean.
What you can’t see in the pictures on their website is how friendly the staff are, as an example they’re a young gentleman named Carmel from Argentina just to name one of them who is very polite respectful and very thorough at what he does with customer service with a warm greeting.
This goes to the all and many staff over the past few years.
As for the manager / owner Renee, I recently spoke with her about a function and catering service, even though she couldn’t cater to what I was looking for she did recommend other options to which my family and myself are truly greatful for.
If her leadership is the standard she has set for herself then you can expect that from her staff that work with her and for her.

Whether I’ve popped in for a quiet moment to myself, a quick bite between chaos, or a catch-up with someone I love, Bambino’s always delivers something more than just food — it delivers connection.
The staff are genuinely lovely — they remember your name, your order, and most importantly, they make you feel welcome every single time. The food is consistently delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly made with love. The coffee? Absolute perfection. The vibe? Relaxed, friendly, and full of life.
As someone who juggles a million things, this place has become a little ritual of calm in my week. And honestly, we need more places like this — local, personal, and full of heart.
If you’ve never been, do yourself a favour and stop by. You’ll walk out full — not just from the food, but from the feeling of being truly looked after.
Thank you, Bambino’s, for being a bright spot in our community. You’re appreciated more...
Read moreGood looking spot in Mount Isa. Refreshing next to the usual take away basics. Popped in yesterday and had the Korean Fried chicken burger for lunch. Good. Couldn’t really fault it. I thought the bun was a little crispy at first, but it held together well. Good value. Today’s was a bit of a disaster. Prawn and crab omelette. A little exxy, but it looked good on the menu, and I was really tossing it up the previous day and kinda went back for it today. I asked for a slice of toast with it, presuming I’d get a slice of the sourdough toast on the other menu items. Charged $7.24 for the extra which now turned this into a $40 brekkie. Maybe Gordon Ramsey was going to toast the bread in the fires of Mount Doom 🤷♂️ Alas, it was the bread Golum threw off the mountain, dry, no butter. A STACK of asparagus hidden under an overcooked omelette distracted from the taste of rubbery under-seasoned prawns and crab. I’ll be back… this spot has potential, but this...
