Now I would of given a 5 star review but unfortunately getting assaulted by Tania I got told that's her name that was doing the tickets. I had to leave the line to get my child's blanket went back to my partner in the line as she paid for our tickets. I went around Tania and then all of sudden she elbows me really hard in my stomach were my hernia is and says you need to go back there and wait I advised her that my partner is over there and she paid for my ticket and that I'm returning back from getting my child's blanket. She doesn't even say sorry after hearting me and physically hurting me nothing. Once everyone went on I approached her with another worker present and advised her she had no right hitting people and that she has hurt my hernia which I showed her. She first denied and then said yes I'm sorry in a rude tone I advised next time just talk to someone with out touching them. It is a fantastic attraction and the other staff were great and showed exceptional service and I would love to give the 5 stars but I'm sorry what happened whas un called for and I was going to go to the local police station as I had 8 witnesses which I have all there details to give to the police to file an assoult charge as there where in disbelief that a person could do that if I had of done that to her she would of got be arrested absolutely...

Extremely poor service. On 2 January around 2:30pm, I bought 4 return tickets (2 adults and 2 seniors) for 6 people (4 adults and 2 girls – 7 and 9 years old). When we got into the tram from Granite Island to Mainland at 4:25pm, we sat at the top level of the tram. As there were insufficient seats, the western lady staff without eyeglasses, she spoke loudly and rudely, “if child without paying ticket, he/she must sit on parents’ lap”. When I bought the tickets, staff didn’t mention child without paying ticket, he/she is not able to get a seat, and the price list is not mentioned about it. I felt disappointed and got offence, seems like I took advantage from Victor Harbor Horse Drawn Tramway. Firstly my 2 girls are 7 and 9 years old, they are quite heavy to sit on our laps, and it was not safe for us, as we were at the top level, it was risky for them by falling out of the tram. Secondly, if there were insufficient seats in the tram, why staff still let people got into the tram, why can’t staff manage them to take the next tram. Thirdly, I assume staff were fully trained and provide good service, why she spoke in an impolite manner. I can’t believe it’s the service that Victor Harbor Horse Drawn...

Ok so where do I begin? The Victor Harbor Horse Drawn Tramway is a definitely must to do and see. I love the idea, but I do feel for the horses pulling all that weight behind them, however we were assured the horses are happy and well looked after which is good to hear! The experience is unique as the location and the scenery was what gives you this new experience on a whole new level. There are two Trams that seem to depart from each end every 30-45 minutes. One end is on the mainland that have cafes, shops and other attractions around the stop, the other end has a café which was closed at the time we went and toilets. The Granite Island itself was beautiful and took us under an hour to walk the loop, and this was with constant stops to take in the view and also to take photographs. This is a definitely must for those who loves the natural beauty of both the ocean and land, also who are interested in the history of what it is named Granite Island (kind of obvious... its for their Croissants). The Tram staff were very friendly and very accomodating. I do hope the horses are very well looked after and would love to visit again soon! Follow and join me on my next adventure!
