Lovely little swimming and snorkelling spot. The Omeo wreck is only metres from the beach and great for kids and first time snorkelers. Plenty of fish to see but can get very busy with restricted visibility from all the sand being churned up. The snorkeling “trail” is a little overgrown and indistinct but we had fun swimming around looking for it.
A few hundred metres down the beach is a netted off swimming area with floating pontoon. Was very popular with lap swimmers. Note parking is minimal be prepared to park in the streets and walk a bit...
