If I could rate this place with a -100.. I would! Please DO NOT go here and punish yourself.
Went there with my family and as soon as you walk in - the windows and floors were filthy. Unsure if they have ever been cleaned. The staff there included 2 guys - a chef (really sweet and friendly guy) and a front of house/coffee maker (Note he hasn't been called a barista for a reason.. ). This guy was disheveled, not friendly at all and clearly didn't want to be there either. I have no idea why 4 coffees took 30mins (he only had 2 coffees to make before ours). He didn't give us spoons with the coffees and when we asked for spoons he ran 4 under a tap and then put them on our saucers. Wet. And still stained with coffee from previous use. The coffees also tasted very average.
So we ordered 4 dishes.. 2 big breakfast, an eggs Benedict with salmon and Turkish eggs. Firstly all the meals came out cold as ice and took over 40mins. At that time, there were only 2 other customers who ordered before us. All the meals came with white sliced bread and a little section of margarine smeared on them. When we asked what happened to the turkish bread as part of the turkish eggs.. we were told they ran out (they couldn't tell us this whilst we were ordering). The sausages in the big breakfast looked so shriveled, like they had been fried 100 times before reaching our plates. The salmon eggs benedict came out without salmon and ice cold hollandaise which was thick as mayonaise. It was not fresh and was definitely from a bottle.
I genuinely have no idea how this place hasn't been shut down!
P.s. I had diarrhoea the entire day...
Read moreWould give this place no stars if possible. Purchased a scoopon for 4 people for breakfast. Booked through the scoopon website for 9am on Good Friday. When we arrived and sat down the tables were filthy then ordered our Breakfast, 10 minutes later they told us we couldn’t use the voucher on a public holiday but they would let it go anyway (like they were doing us a favour), I believe this is also the point at which they stopped cooking the food. They brought out uncooked eggs, we ordered poached eggs, and they were still clear (had not turned white from being cooked), the hash browns were raw in the middle, the bacon was only slightly heated through, we got a quarter of a tomatoe and half a mushroom each. The staff were rude and incompetent and should not be allowed to handle people’s food. They also had no toilets on site as the mall was closed (crazy to bother opening). Would strongly suggest NEVER wasting...
Read moreI stumbled upon this cafe, and wow, it's become my new favorite spot. The barista's latte art skills are on point, and the mix of Asian and Filipino food is a pleasant surprise for breakfast and dinner. The daily specials with ice-cold beer are a highlight. The Pork Tacos are a must-try!
My family and I keep coming back, despite the distance, because the Omelette, Pork Sisig, Chicken Katsu, and Furikake Omelette Katsu are just too good to resist. The owner's homemade savoury scones and burnt cheesecake are addictive – always going back for more. And let's not forget the 5/5 ratings for food, service, and atmosphere – well-deserved.
Parking is a breeze, especially with plenty of undercover spots on rainy days. I highly recommend this place – the coffee and rice bowl meals like Pork Adobo, Beef Strips, and Chicken Katsu are a taste sensation. I'm definitely making this cafe a regular hangout. 🤩 Can't wait...
