Yokine Play Space — Attraction in Yokine

Fabulous place for kids of all ages to find something to do and families and community groups to get together. BBQs are free and relatively quite clean.

A truly international crowd of Aussie families celebrated a warm Summer evening and public holiday this January long weekend, making the atmosphere just wonderful. Kids were running, giggling, playing and smiling everywhere. Teens were chilling out in sociable groups and the parents were chatting and organising a large array of foods in the various groups sharing the play space and parks beyond.

Lovely enclosed natural playground for kids of all ages to play. Merry go rounds, swings, low height 'rock climbing'. Very shady as there are lots of trees to give cover on sunny days. We went there in the afternoon, was a bit windy. So bring a wind jacket, even on a spring season. Free gas Bbq to cook your meat inside and outside the playground area. Great playground for the younger kids, with a wide variety of play areas to explore. There's slides, swings, balance beams, rope climbing structures, music area, and mini rock climbing wall!

It's completely surrounded by fences, so the adults can relax with a drink (from the nearby coffee truck), while the kids let off steam.
