I’m sorry that you lost a customer. I’ve continually been here for almost one week cuz the food is very nice, especially the bento box meal. However today, I felt that I was discriminated. I ordered my usual bento box and sat down. Two Korean guys came after me , I could hear that they ordered exact the same food like me, but they served them first. After a few more minutes waiting, I was impatient and thought they forgot my food, then I told them I came before these two guys, but they served them first. They said mine is ready soon. When their staff served me my meal and whispered a sorry and left straightaway. She didn’t even watch me. I just felt not comfortable and I don’t think I will come back. I’m also doing hospitality industry. When customer made complain about something, I would normally explain the reason and find a better solution to make them happy. Read moreThe first time I ordered from Toku Sushi it was awesome. Ordered off Uber Eats and my food arrived timely and it was awesome- worth the money. So I thought I'd get it again today, ordered the same dish from Uber Eats with priority delivery. Delivery for priority was estimated between 15-25mins from time of processing the purchase until delivery. So I paid extra for priority, only to be waiting for an hour until my food actually arrived. I'm not sure if Toku Sushi was busy at the time, but if so they should make customers aware of this or make priority service unavailable as I've just paid extra to wait as long as it would have taken with standard delivery; and my food was stone cold when it arrived. The driver themselves found the place easily which was refreshing. Probably won't buy from Toku Sushi again, this time around it wasn't worth the money...
Read moreIf you are going to advertise you close at 7.3pm on a Friday then the general rule is you take orders until then. Don’t stop taking phone calls at 7pm so you can pack up and leave by 7.30pm. All the advertised times on your website are all wrong as you don’t stay open that late. When I drove down to ask why you aren’t taking phone orders before close time the 2 woman at the counter didn’t care less and were smirking the whole conversation. When I asked where the manager was they said not here and didn’t care less about why I was complaining. This business is clearly a daytime sushi place. Don’t bother calling for a dinner order.
