Schlick 2000 ski center AG — Attraction in Fulpmes

Enjoyed Schlick2000 very much. The beginner slope 15 at Mittlestation is great for a warm up on first day. There are a good enough variety of slopes of various degrees of difficulty, although some blue slopes verge on being red and bits of red slopes are rather black. Mostly well groomed, some a bit icy in places (7a, 16). Favourite runs were 1 (lovely long scenic descent), 12 and 5. The descent from Mittlestation to the bottom (16) was alright once but too narrow with many sharp turns and rather icy- not so enjoyable. It seemed better groomed on subsequent days, but preferred to enjoy it from the cable car :) Panorama restaurant at the top is new, beautiful with good facilities, lovely views of the valey and reasonable prices, considering you are on top of the mountain! The bar near Mittelstation is ok too but it empties early. The bar at bottom station had a proper apres-ski vibe only at the weekend, on weekdays it was rather quiet with disappointing music. Good free bus service also. Runs on time and it's better than taking the car. The bus drops you off at the gondola whereas if you drive, you still have to walk quite a bit from the car park- and if busy, you might have a long walk or have to take the bus anyway!

Would definitely come back to Schlick 2000, only probably stay in another town in the valey with a bit more going on (Neustift?).

We are beginners and we visited Muterrer Alm, Glungezer and Stubai Glacier during our holiday. This resort has 3 areas for kids/beginners. There are carpet lifts and beginner/kids slops at Big Ron’s Kinderland. You can reach there with Gondola from Tallstation. You just need to leave Gondola at the first stop. Second area is Schanzlin. This area marked as beginner but to be honest we struggled a lot. It has hills with steep drops, it is tilted to one side so not flat and you always need to slow it down not to loose control. So in short you don’t feel you are having fun. A T bar operates here to take you up. There is also Schlickerarm but we didn’t have time to explore there. Familienunfreundliches Skigebiet

Wir fahren regelmäßig Ski und haben so etwas Familienunfreundliches noch nie erlebt. Die Lifte sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen und der Kundenservice lässt zu wünschen übrig.

Am 24.12.24 waren wir vor Ort, da zwei Tage zuvor das Gebiet so überfüllt war, dass es nahezu unmöglich war, Ski zu fahren. An Weihnachten ließ man die Leute 40 Minuten warten, nur um dann den wartenden Menschenmassen, die sich gefühlt bis zum Ort erstreckten, mitzuteilen, dass die Anlage aufgrund von starkem Wind nur bis zur Mittelstation fährt. Wie sollen solche Menschenmassen mit nur einer Bahn den ganzen Tag abgefertigt werden?

Auf meine Anfrage, das Ticket ersetzt zu bekommen, wurde mitgeteilt, dass nur Tagestickets ersetzt würden. Da wir ein Wochenticket hatten, wurden wir stehen gelassen und äußerst unfreundlich behandelt. Man schickte uns auf den Stubaier Gletscher, wo wir erst kurz vor 11 Uhr auf dem Berg ankamen. Online waren immer noch alle Bahnen als offen deklariert, was eine Täuschung darstellt. Als ich darauf hinwies, wurden nur Ausreden gesucht. Komischerweise fuhren die Bahnen auf dem Gletscher, obwohl die Lifte dort über 1000 m höher und ohne Bäume dem Wind stärker ausgesetzt sind.

Leider war das Parkhaus morgens um 08:30 Uhr schon überfüllt und der Parkplatz war sehr weit entfernt. Mit Skischuhen den ganzen Weg hoch zu wandern, war äußerst mühsam. Auch die vielen Treppen sind nicht kinderfreundlich.

Die Talfahrt ist zwar blau, aber schlecht bis gar nicht präpariert und viel zu schmal. Insgesamt sind alle blauen Pisten deutlich zu schmal.

Das einzig Positive für Anfänger sind die vielen Anfängerpisten, die jedoch gnadenlos überfüllt sind. Angeblich sind die Karten limitiert, was ich bezweifle. An den Liften steht man ewig und es wird keine Rücksicht genommen. Man sollte hier besonders auf seine...
