KitzSki Hornbahn I — Attraction in Kitzbühel

You can take the cable car up to the mountain from here. If you are not skiing it will only cost 28 euros per person for the up and down trip. Ski rates are available from 56 euros per person per day onwards. First the cable car will stop at the middle station. If you want you can get down here and walk around. Also there are hiking trails from here to the top of mountains. Also there's another cable car starting from here which goes to the peak of the kitzbuhler horn. Fantastic trail and all signposted and paths or can go onto further stretch of the hike, steep but manageable, I went in summer and it was very easy to navigate, the cable cars were great as can get on or off at a few points. Gut dass es diese Bahn gibt sonst hätten wir drei Stunden nach oben laufen müssen 😉 eine Sache war aber schon ärgerlich: wir waren ein Kind und ein Jugendlicher mit den Eltern (also eine klassische Familie) und fragten nach dem günstigsten Ticket. Leider wurden wir nicht korrekt beraten. Scheinbar hatte die ansonsten freundliche Dame die Einstellung dass wir als Touristen ruhig etwas mehr zahlen könnten. Wir sollten jeweils 24,80 Euro pro Person bezahlen obwohl unser 14jähriger Sohn fast 10 Euro und der 17jährige 5 Euro günstiger fahren konnte. Erst auf Nachfrage erfuhren wir die günstigen Preise.
