Horrible experience, the only reason why I keep reviewing this post ( my original was long time ago) is because the owner forces me to do so with her dishonest rude replies :) I love a good interaction with a little person with a big attitude! This is my honest review from a personal experience. As you know, there is no monetary incentive involve other than my wish for restaurants to improve their services.
We had a truly unpleasant experience at La Botte di Bacco in Alt-Kitzbühel. The service was extremely rushed, making the entire meal feel more like an obligation than an enjoyable outing.
The food itself was mediocre at best—nowhere near the quality you'd expect at the prices they charge. This seems to be a consistent issue based on other reviews from fellow contributors.
What made matters worse was the attitude of the management—hostile, dismissive, and entirely uninterested in guest satisfaction. Constantly answering my reviews with rude comments from you never been here to we never served risotto, etc.
There are too many genuinely good places around Alt-Kitzbühel in Austria to waste your time and money here. I do not recommend La...
Read moreOverall not impressed by this restaurant. The food was mostly amazing (super flavourful starter, perfect lamb and pasta for mains - the tiramisu however did not have enough chilling time, so was super runny & the biscuits were barely soaked, so still quite hard + my friend had a big chunk of caramel in her tiramisu). You should be aware that the bread they put on the table will be charged extra at 6€ per person (at this price I would expect it to be included). The service however was not good (it took 30 min to get the wine menu and we had to order our food before ven looking at the drinks menu). Overall the dinner took 2.5 - 3 hours for starter, main and dessert for 2 people and sue to that we stayed so late that other guests were starting to smoke in the restaurant, while we had our dessert.
Overall the prices are quite high which we expected. Drinks are a bit overpriced, e.g. selling a glass of wine for 12€ where the bottle costs 8€ online). But with the level of service we got and the smoking in the restaurant, these prices are definitely...
Read moreI frequented this remarkable Tuscan restaurant multiple times during my business visit to Kitzbühel and must express that the overall experience was exceptional. The staff exhibited delightful, friendly, and knowledgeable service. The cuisine was not only incredible but also remarkably tasty and fresh. The chef, displaying a personal touch, visited tables, engaging in small talk with customers to ensure their enjoyment. In my estimation, it stands as the preeminent restaurant in Kitzbühel. I eagerly anticipate returning to Kitzbühel for business and relishing this outstanding experience once more.
I highly recommend this restaurant to all, including fellow vegetarians. Despite a more limited selection, the chef accommodated by preparing a homemade rocket pesto with burrata, a delightful creation not featured on the menu. The flexibility demonstrated is greatly appreciated.
Anticipating a return visit, both myself and my colleagues look forward to future dining experiences.
