“Simple Foods” is true in concept, but the care with which they are prepared and shared is far from simple. I wish I had gotten the owner’s name ( the Austrian Australian) for a personal shout out. But you’ll know him when you’re there. His infectious good humor and passion for good quality healthy food is apparent. Coming from Mexico after a month in Austria we were pining for fresh vegetables and gingery juices. I am a retired chef that has worked in some of the worlds’ best kitchens and I can say, without hesitation, that Simple Foods is doing it right. Quality local ingredients expertly prepared that nourish a body after long days of mountaineering. A Hidden Gem in Kitzbühel! I recently discovered this amazing spot and it will definitely become my home away from home whenever I’m in Kitzbühel. The vegetarian Burger / flatbread with Halloumi is simply awesome – a must-try for any burger lover! And don’t even get me started on the sweet potato fries – hands down the best I’ve ever had. Vegan options are available as well. Their coffee with oat milk is a perfect pick-me-up, and the cherry on top is the nicest host you could ever meet. German: Dieses Restaurant ist sehr namensgerecht. Gutes, einfaches Essen. Es erinnerte mich an einen guten Fish&Chips Laden im Vereinigten Königreich, bis auf dass sie Burger und Fritten servieren. Die Bedienung hatte zufällig auch einen britischen Akzent - ich Frage mich, ob dort eine Verbindung besteht.

Wir wurden sehr warm empfangen und die Bedienung war so freundlich und aufmerksam im Service, wie es wohl möglich war. Die Atmosphäre war definitiv mein persönlicher Fall, komfortabel und mit einer super Musikauswahl.

Die Burger waren unter den besten, die ich je hatte. Die Fritten waren super. Die Süßkartoffelpommes waren die besten ihrer Art, welche ich jemals hatte.

Uns wurden Espressos aufs Haus angeboten und wir haben respektvoll abgelehnt. Wir fragten stattdessen noch danach, einen Milkshake zum Mitnehmen zu kaufen. Die Bedienung legte großzügigerweise Wert darauf uns stattdessen einen zweiten Shake aufs Haus zu machen. Die Milkshakes waren auch besonders gut.

Es ist keine ausgefallene Erfahrung, es ist einfaches Essen und es ist fantastisch darin. Vielen Dank, dass wir hier sein durften und für die Gastfreundschaft. Wir hoffen wiederzukehren.

English: It's very true to its name. Good, simple food. Very reminiscent of a nice chippy in the UK for me, except they serve burgers and fries. The staff happened to have a British accent too - I wonder about the connection there.

We were greeted very warmly and the service was as friendly and attentive as it could've really been. The atmosphere was definitely to my personal liking, comfortable and with a great music selection.

The burgers were among the best I have had in my life. The fries were great. The sweet potato fries were the best of their kind I've ever had.

The staff wanted to give us espresso on the house and we respectfully declined. We asked to buy a milkshake to go instead. The staff made it a point to make a second shake on the house instead. The milkshakes were exceptional.
