Kind of heaven on earth, for music lovers and for engineers. Indeed, probably the greatest Electronic Keyboard Museum in the world. You can find here instruments used in concerts or studio LP recording by famous Michael Jackson, Falco, Isao Tomita. Some brands: Korg, Roland, Yamaha, Excelsior (back in 97 I was working for this company), Moog, Linn, Hamond. And all is run by a man: Mr Gert Prix. One man doing a great artistic show: voice, keyboard, history teller. You want more? Yes, it is an interactive experience: you can play with some of these instruments (ask for permission first). This makes the place super atractive for kids too: they can expeeiment with a synth witk mike, the Roland Vocoder. And for sure, if you remember the sound from StarTrek series from 67, the Teremin is here. And you can play making Sci-Fi movies sound. You want even more? Yes, life events are organized here, Mr Gerd Prix and the Band are performing on the stage. Impressive!

Very great place for everyone, who loves keyboards, organs or synths. It's also possible to play some of the instruments. They also have one of Keith Emerson's organs there, which is very interesting to see. 🌟 The owner is also very friendly and helpful. You should also ask for upcoming events, as they have performances there as well (for example, Ian Paice from Deep Purple).

Das man hier alles findet, wovon man als Keyboarder träumt, sollte jedem klar sein. Was mich aber wirklich beeindruckte, war die unglaubliche Kinderfreundlichkeit. Ich war mit meinen vier kleinen Monstern (4, 7, 10 & 11 Jahre alt) an einem Wochentag zugegen. Der einzige, der Panikattacken hatte, war ich. Alles wurde erklärt und auf Wunsch vorgeführt. In Deutschland ist sowas leider heute undenkbar. Da wir im Herbst wieder Urlaub in Österreich machen wollen, werden wir bestimmt wieder vorbeischauen.

Il Museo che non ti aspetti. a pochi passi dal centro di Klagenfurt e dalla Stazione, una distesa sterminata di tastiere che hanno scritto la storia della musica, Hammond, Hofner, Korg, Farfisa e moltissime altre. molti funzionanti e che è possibile provare. Gert il direttore è molto disponibile a spiegare gli strumenti o a fare dimostrazioni. Ogni venerdì il museo ospita le migliori band da tutta l'Austria e non solo. molto consigliato !

Ci sono luoghi che meritano di essere visitati almeno una volta nella vita. Questo museo è uno di quelli. Per chi ama la musica, la storia del Rock, della Disco Music, del Blues, del Jazz e della musica elettronica, questo posto è un vero e proprio paradiso. Gert, eccellente custode e musicista, vi accoglierà calorosamente, suonerà, vi ascolterà, risponderà a tutte le curiosità e alle domande. Un posto unico al mondo!!
