We had an incredible experience with this ski school, and I can confidently say it exceeded all of our expectations. I personally took private ski lessons with Tony, and he was absolutely outstanding. Tony is not only extremely professional and knowledgeable, but also very patient, encouraging, and great at adapting the lesson to your skill level. I improved so much in a short time and felt confident and safe throughout the entire experience. It truly made a huge difference in my skiing. I sincerely hope Tony will be there again next year — I would 100% book lessons with him again without hesitation. My son attended ski school, and his experience was just as fantastic. He had lessons with Angelo, Heijn, and lastly dear Rob, and each instructor was amazing in their own way. They were all highly skilled, incredibly kind, and most importantly, made learning fun and exciting. My son looked forward to every lesson and came back smiling, more confident, and enthusiastic about skiing. The overall organization, professionalism, and positive atmosphere of the ski school were excellent. Every instructor we encountered was top-quality, friendly, and clearly passionate about teaching. I had an amazing first snowboard lesson at Toni Gruber Ski School in St. Johann Alpendorf, Austria. Everything was very well organised—from the information hut at the bottom of the slope to the conveniently located rental shop by the gondola. The equipment was good quality, and the staff were all super friendly and helpful. I booked a full-day lesson (two hours in the morning and two in the afternoon). The small group size meant lots of individual attention—it was like a private lesson but without the costs. A huge thank you to my brilliant instructor, Emma from Austria. She clearly explained and demonstrated the fundamentals of snowboarding, gave personalised feedback that really helped me progress, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. By the afternoon, I felt a lot more confident and was putting together my first turns, a truly satisfying feeling. The staff were very friendly and understanding even when we showed up late on our first day! We took the three day ski lesson package (rentals included - see my review for Snowshop at Alpendorf) which was a fair price. The only problem was that we had to buy the lift ticket separate which was an extra cost. The instructor was really chilled out (22 year old Danish guy) with really good English but struggled a bit with his German. I was however impressed that he gave the lesson in both English and German. We went slow and learned the basics which was really good. I'm already a snowboarder and have ice-skated my whole life so I picked it up quite quickly. However, I feel like the other people in my group would need more lessons to really feel like they have learned to ski. Overall, I would definitely recommend...
