The waitstaff, including Sylvester, Sascha, Tamara, and Noah, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was super friendly and professional. And let's talk about the chef, Robert – his dishes are not only delicious but crafted with an evident amount of love and passion.

During our 5-night stay, we had the pleasure of dining at Oberforsthofalm 3 times – we simply couldn't resist coming back. The food was consistently amazing, and the staff truly made us feel special each and every time. Their attention to detail and genuine care elevated our dining experience to a whole new level.

We had our wedding at the Oberforsthofalm in Feb 2026 and all we can say is that everything was literally just PERFECT! Katharina was so kind and listening to all our wishes and nothing was too much trouble for them. Literally everything I asked her was possible! I explained exactly how I would like the set up and her and the team made it perfect. The food we received was also incredible and huge compliments to the chef on that day. We have eaten at the Oberforsthofalm many times but to produce so many perfect dishes all at once was something to be highly commended and many of our guests complimented how lovely the food was. All the waiting staff were phenomenal, caring and attentive. Even in to the late night party they said they were happy to ‘close’ the bar/ disco when we were ready. We could not have asked for a more perfect day and we are so glad we chose the Oberforsthofalm as our venue. We love you guys so much and can not wait to come back to celebrate our anniversary with you!...

We reserved a table for four people and the reservation was confirmed. However, when we arrived, this was not the case. They told us they didn’t have a table for us and that we would need to wait at least 20 minutes. They then offered us a place at the bar, where the music was very loud (apres ski allready started) and it wasn’t possible to enjoy a calm meal. We received the menu, but there was no employee available to take our order and had to wair again for a long time. We had to stand up and look for someone ourselves. Eventually, we noticed that a table became available in the diner lounge, but we had to inform an employee ourselves in order to be moved there. We also asked for mayonnaise, which we never received. The food tasted good, however, it seemed a bit makeshift that they decorated the “wild meat” with sweet whipped cream from a spray bottle.
