Oberforsthofalm GesmbH is an absolute gem! Our experience here was nothing short of exceptional. The waitstaff, including Sylvester, Sascha, Tamara, and Noah, went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was super friendly and professional. And let's talk about the chef, Robert – his dishes are not only delicious but crafted with an evident amount of love and passion.

During our 5-night stay, we had the pleasure of dining at Oberforsthofalm 3 times – we simply couldn't resist coming back. The food was consistently amazing, and the staff truly made us feel special each and every time. Their attention to detail and genuine care elevated our dining experience to a whole new level.

What truly touched our hearts was how they surprised my mum with a birthday cake and entertainment. It's these thoughtful gestures that set Oberforsthofalm apart. The manager's helpfulness and friendliness were noteworthy as well – their commitment to customer satisfaction was palpable.

Posh and overrated

We have been to this place for lunch on a quiet Friday evening. The place was maybe half full and still they could not manage to serve starters and main course in time. We waited over 30 minutes for the starters and 1h20min for the main course. We were not asked for more drinks but had to proactively order them with the waiters. Food is pricey but only mediocre in quality. We had to wait more than 20 minutes to pay our check. They pride themselves with hanging lots of autographs from late 90ies celebrities and Veuve Clicquote accessories but you’d have to cover the whole place with this to make up for the poor food, wine and service. I wonder how this place could become so famous....

Came here after a long road trip and couldn't have made a better decision. The place was beautiful and traditional Austrian, with a panoramic section to sit in overlooking the scenery.

The food was stunningly presented and tasted delicious. Service was very quick too, with both appetisers in front of us within 10 minutes of ordering. Waiters had excellent personality and were very friendly.

I will definitely be coming here again, and wholeheartedly recommend anyone to do the same.
