Such a beautiful and relaxing park! This park is one of the most beautiful parks you can possibly go to in Baku and worth a visit if you wish to spend sometime away from the busy city Downtown. During a 5 days vacation I went 3 times to this park with my family. Beautiful fountain and birds that you can feed, it also has cafes, ice rink for skating, kids playing area, lots of benches to sit, and super peaceful place. We loved this park a lot. Zabitlər Bağı — Bakının ən qədim ictimai parklarından biri olub, XIX əsrin sonlarında yaradılıb. Əvvəlki adı “Mixaylov bağı” olub və Çar Rusiyası dövründə salınıb. Park, əsasən Rusiya imperiyasının zabitləri və yüksək təbəqəli şəxsləri üçün nəzərdə tutulmuşdu.

Sovet dövründə parkın adı dəyişdirilərək “Zabitlər Bağı” kimi tanınmağa başladı. Bu dövrdə burada sovet zabitlərinin və İkinci Dünya Müharibəsi şəhidlərinin xatirəsinə müxtəlif abidələr qoyulmuşdu. Bəzi mənbələrə görə, park bir vaxtlar Sovet Ordusunun yığıncaqları və təntənəli tədbirləri üçün də istifadə olunub.

2000-ci illərdə Bakı şəhərinin abadlaşdırılması layihəsi çərçivəsində Zabitlər Bağı tamamilə yenidən quruldu. Tarixi strukturlar qorunaraq park daha müasir və ailəvi istirahət üçün uyğunlaşdırılmış formada təqdim olundu. Parkın mərkəzində klassik üslubda fəvvarələr, skamyalar, güllü kompozisiyalar və işıqlandırılmış gəzinti yolları yaradıldı.
