Where to start from! Really nice manager and staff! All the staff is polite (something you start appreciating after traveling around the Caucasus region) and helpful. |We got an amazing upgrade to their suite with an amazing view over the city and a lovely balcony. I'm super grateful er had the opportunity to stay in the suite since we were traveling with my 11 months old baby. They provided us with a nice wooden baby cot. |The thing that made me best impression in the room was the extremely high level of cleanliness. Absolutely mirror clean table! This is quite important when you travel with a baby. |Their restaurant is also very cheap and nice - we had breakfast that every morning and it was a complete buffet. They even have their homemade jams. We also had room service ordered from the restaurant - there you can expect some waiting time, but nothing extreme. |We also used their pick up service from the airport and also around the country + drive to Tbilisi with the same driver. I must say I'm grateful we got a Mercedes for those trips since we had a lot of luggage. There was also installed a baby seat in the car. |I'd definitely stay again in this hotel. Not because it is 4 or 5 stars, but because the people working there made us feel welcome and dis their best to satisfy all our needs! |Big thank you to the team of Amber hotel and especially to Emin who made our...

We reached late at night (around 10pm) and so looking for another hotel at that time wasn't an option.||We'd booked a "Double or Twin Room" which was a decent sized room. The bed was twin-beds put together as a double bed - with the mattresses of different heights, so couldn't really be used as a double bed.||The hotel had only 1 staff member when we checked-in - and he wasn't trained or equipped to assist us with anything other than check-in. ||The staff in the morning was more helpful, but we were checking-out then in anycase.||Also faced an odd experience when we entered our room after a walkabout in the morning to find our room door open & two men in our room. They explained that they were doing a service check in all rooms on the floor. Odd that the Hotel wouldn't inform us about this and let non-housekeeping staff in like that.||Breakfast spread was good.|Overall, a 'no' to stay here - there are loads of other options in Baku in the same price range which would offer a better...
