We were in Freeport the day before arriving here. We were so discouraged with our excursion in Freeport so that we really weren't expecting great things in Nassau. What a wonderful surprise when we got to the Blue Lagoon Island! The boat ride from our cruise ship started off with a mini tour of the area. We were amazed by the beautiful blue waters, the yachts, and the homes! When we arrived at the Blue Lagoon, we were told that one side was for dolphin and sea lion swims. We were ushered to our beach. All the staff was gracious and welcoming. Great customer service! The water was perfectly clear and the beach was so clean with white sand. Lunch was plentiful and delicious. Peas and rice was my favorite. We played in the water and rested under our clam shell umbrellas. On the ride back to the ship, we line danced and sang the oldies. I would love to visit Nassau again and go back to the Blue Lagoon. I have pictures from there as screensavers on my computer. We talk about taking a trip just to Nassau and spending time in paradise, the Blue Lagoon Island!

I was at the restaurant of the (Flamingo Beach Resort, from I could here what I can easily said people having fun. Well since I it was a short walking distance from where I was went to see what I was missing. As I was reaching the place I saw a huge bus with very happy singing patron's, well I miss the fun, well actually the party was just beginning. The place is in the Taíno Beach area, it mostly cateres to cruise ships but it's open to the public. I ordered the conch salad and vodka w splash of canberry at point the important details is the conch salad that I had been craving so much. It was very good I still miss the one that I had at this particular restaurant now closed no points missed in here was gone is gone. Now let's go to the area it self magnificent sea, sand and amenities for all ages. Last but not least I found the best bartender Scott, attentive to every detailed and as added bonus good looks. Mey3 was also top notched. Needless to say that on my next visit this place will be on the top of the list.

We had a blast! The food was delicious and the bar and wait staff very friendly. Eulamae was super sweet & personable. One thing that they don't mention that IS included is shots!! BONUS! The bus ride over and back was a lot of fun as well. Of course after a few hours of free flowing alcohol the bus ride back was DEFINITELY much livelier! The ONLY things that were a negative are the fact that they are constantly trying to sell or rent you something, from braids to snorkeling. When you exit the bus they are standing there with a basket collecting tips. The tickets were supposed to include beach games and water play/toys. None of which were included, except a hammock, chess and volleyball if you had enough people to put a team together. EVERYTHING else had to be paid for: snorkeling $5, photos with bird & iguana $9, paddle boarding, jet ski $75, water rafts and toys, etc.

Disaster almost Tragedy! This excursion started with a bus ride and the bus driver originally dropped us off at the wrong location. Then when getting to the correct location we were greeting by two tour guides that were approximately 18 years old and were inexperienced. They took our picture and told us where on the Jet Ski to store our camera and belongings. They then told us how to start, stop, and slow down. They never mentioned what to do to prevent from falling over into the water. Then the group of us about sever different Jet Skis went into the open ocean. We were on Jet Skis in the past and they were very organized, a tour guide in the front then all of us in a straight line and then a tour guide in the back. We never got hurt and never fell over the Jet Ski into the water. This was nothing like that. The fellow Jet Skis were doing 360s, donuts, and pop-a-wheelies. The tour guides never reprimanded them for doing this. The tour guides had no control over the group! This caused a few of the Jet Skis including ours to get wet and made it very rocky, and times we felt like we were going to fall over. Then one of the tour guides slowed down and asked us to come close to him so he could explain the sites. As we turned to get closer to him, we fell in the water and the Jet Ski flipped over. One of the tour guides gave us another Jet Ski and stated this happens all the time. We explained we needed a bandaid and I wasn't feeling well and we were afraid to fall over again and the response from the "kid" so called tour guide was find the other tour guide and it is better if you go faster. He then took our Jet Ski and went off. We didn't see that tour guide again until we got back to the beach. We ended up with a scrape on a thumb, a scratch on an ankle, and a banged up knee (the banged up knee came when we were getting out of the Jet Ski at the end). We found out shortly after, this replacement Jet Ski constantly stalled out, indicating the equipment is not maintained. A fellow Jet Ski told us it happened to theirs and they were trying to get one of the tour guides attention, but couldn't because he was off somewhere. Our watch was damaged severely, the camera was ruined, and my diamond heart pendant and gold rope chain went missing! When we got back to the beach neither one of the tour guides helped us out of the Jet Ski and we almost fell over again. They also never asked how we were feeling and if we needed any help. Then we got back in the bus. The bus driver was talking on his cellphone to his wife and on another call while driving all of us. I know in NY and NJ this is against the law and he put us in danger! A year and a half ago, a teenager that went on a Jet Ski lost his life. I would never recommend this tour. If I could give a negative...

Overpriced tourist trap! We did this as a ships excursion. They were late in getting us on our buses and were rude when asked what the delay was. When we got on our bus it was a double decker with a open top deck. I thought it would be nice until our driver hit every tree branch. Smacking many people in the faces and arms. Once we got to the beach it was crowded with not enough chairs for everyone. We asked the staff if we could get single chairs and put them together down the beach so 3 of us could sit together. They said no. When we started to do it anyways they got upset and said chairs would free up when people leave. We waited a bit for them to leave and moved the chairs anyways. They told us snorkel gear was available if we have our ship ID. No one said it wasn’t free. I’ve don’t other excursions where snorkeling equipment was free and if it wasn’t you were told. No one said it cost money. So I got some gear, they guy wrote down my info and I went in the water. The mask and snorkel leaked and I immediately took it back. They didn’t have anymore and said I’d have to wait so I said forget it. Later that night I found out they billed my ship $12 for that snorkel as it was a rental. Food was gross and over priced. Drinks were watered down and overpriced as well. Places to wash off sand were surrounded by sand. So no point in washing your feet off as you’ll get sand on them the second you...

I’m not the type of person to write many reviews however this place deserves one. I decided to go on a cruise for my 25th birthday and that was nothing short of amazing! However, my experience here back in July was very upsetting. For one, the workers here were EXTREMELY rude and two, there is nothing organized about this place except for your van trips back and forth to the ship. I signed up for the jet ski’s and waited nearly 2.5 hrs to do it. I was skipped multiple times because they don’t have a sign-up sheet indicating timeframe or order in which individuals would be able to ride.Once it was my turn, I rode the jet ski for 2 mins before it broke down on me. I had to get pulled back to shore and wait for the boat to be repaired and others to become available. I was NOT the only individual this happened to. Keep in mind the time was quickly approaching for me to board my van and head back to my ship. Did I enjoy this experience? Absolutely not! I kid you not, I didn’t get to ride the ski for 10 mins before it was time to go. When I inquired about a refund the workers were extremely rude! Word of advice to future travelers, be wise on what you choose to spend your money on here. The jet ski activity is NOT worth it! Other than this, the beach was beautiful and the food...
