This is a fine experience if you're doing it as part of a larger tour with other stops. It's not a destination spot, though. It could be called the cave, not caves, and it's pretty much just that. We did it as part of the Pirate Jeep tour and learned somebofbits history from our "Captain," and were glad it was included. It was a qui k, maybe 5-minute stop on a larger tour that was really great. I may have been more impressed if the bats had shown up. But it was a windy day, blowing right into the caves and they were hiding. Still, our tour guide made it fun.

This was part of our ATV tour and was a little underwhelming. Drove about 15 minutes to get here. The cave is pretty small and there are some bats flying around inside. Literally you can spend 2 minutes here. There is a large stone chair that can accommodate 2 or 3 people, lined with shells that makes a nice photo Op. The drive with the turquoise sea to the right is quite beautiful in some places. If you are pressed for time, just skip this.

It is a small cave. The "steps" going up into the middle of the cave are way easier to get up than back down. So be careful. For those wondering you do not need to pay to get into them and there are no tours unless you have paid for an island tour that these are on. It's more of a scenic stop on the side of the road. But if your looking for something free to see that's pretty neat I would suggest it.

The Caves of the Bahamas are a subterranean wonderland! This natural masterpiece exceeded all expectations. Our knowledgeable guide led us through a labyrinth of limestone passages, revealing hidden gems and secrets. We marveled at the stunning formations, from towering stalactites to delicate crystalline flowers. The crystal-clear waters of the underground lakes reflected the beauty above, creating an otherworldly ambiance. We even spotted a few playful fish swimming in the pools! The adventure was exhilarating, yet accessible for all ages and fitness levels. A must-see attraction in the Bahamas, the Caves are a testament to nature's artistry...

There is ample parking for those visiting with a group on ATVs.

A cool throne, covered in seashells, for pictures.

And an actual cave. Featured in a Jamss Bond movie.

Steps go down into the caves. Be sure to use the flashlight mode on your phone as the next set of steps, going up, are carved out of stone and uneven. It is not recommended for people with mobility issues. We recommend using the stairs facing the same direction on your way back and the entrance stairs forward.

And if you decide to go around, once in the caves, there will probably be water on the floor.

We saw a few bats. Keep in kind that they are not...
