Horrible Service, waste of time, will never be returning.... My partner and I went there last night for dinner and from the start the service was horrible. The hostess was pleasant and seated us but we waited 30mins before someone came to take our order. We literally had to signal a waiter in passing. The waiter did not write down anything we said and proceed to the kitchen. We got the appetizers and things were looking promising......1 hour and 30mins later three (3) other tables that came AFTER us received their food! When we addressed this with the waiter all he said was it’s coming now and don’t worry about it. Asked for the manager/owner and he could careless (older slim Italian guy) and said “well it’s the waiter fault he didn’t put in the order” then proceeded to serve other persons. Where is the customer service!? Explained to the manager and waiter it was already close to curfew, other food places are closed and we are left in a ridiculous situation....the manager says “well are you staying or going?” WTH! Advise to save your...
Read moreMy family and I were looking for an Italian place to eat on Christmas Eve. It’s always been our family tradition to eat Italian on Christmas Eve because my grandmother was Italian. All I can say is WOW, this place had it all. First, the atmosphere was superb. It felt like we had transported to a restaurant in Italy for the evening. Second, the wine and other alcoholic beverages were great. And of course the food! We ordered pizza and Calimari for appetizers and for the main course we had the Lobster Lasagna, Penne Bolognese, Gnocchi, and Snapper! All of which were cooked to perfection. I want to pick my favorite, but all were just as superb as the next. Lastly, you MUST try the Guava Cheesecake. It was incredible and one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. The owner was friendly, knowledgeable, and really took care of us, stopping by our table and giving his recommendations. If you’re looking for an authentic, Italian experience, La Caverna is the...
Read moreOur group of 5 came here for dinner one night during our stay in Nassau. We all cannot recommend La Caverna enough. Appetizers were delicious, the Calamari was cooked perfectly. We ordered the Homemade Spaghetti N’duja, and it was amazing. The tomato sauce was rich and flavorful and the pasta was perfect. We all got dessert as well, highly recommend the cannolis and tiramisu. We wanted to try everything, the food was so good! Honestly some of the best authentic Italian food we’ve ever had anywhere, and BY FAR the best dining experience we had here in Nassau. The serving staff was attentive, timely and took great care of us. We met the owner Giorgio, he was so kind and welcoming, and you can really see the passion he puts into this place. If you are staying in Nassau, there is no question, you need to...
