Disney's Castaway Cay - Bahamas — Attraction in South Abaco

The secluded Disney private island is perfect break to unplug and recharge from our busy mechanical - round the clock life, most of us live in US. The kids had mini-play ground in the water and the day we went was perfect. It was warm and cloudy, so no sun-burn complaints.

We rented bicycle and it’s such a small wild island. They have done a fantastic job paving the streets for cyclists and runners to go around and do 5k or more. Along the way, there are small and yet simple things such as a wooden tower to look around, a nice secluded water sport and then ship parts and pieces on the side of road to keep little treasure hunters busy....

Very relaxing and not super crowded because everyone from the cruise ship was spread out. They had hammocks that were nice to relax in right on the beach. Febuary 20th and 22nd 2024 Double dip!! Both days mid 70F, warm, and sunny! Swam both days. Chilly water around 68-69F degrees. Got swimmers itch 😞 so bring protection !! Other than that, just beautiful...
