Please note that you Need to buy online tickets ahead of planned visit. Tickets are opened 3 days ahead of the visiting day. Tickets are soldl from the gateway of their website. You can pay by credit card or mobile wallets. This is important because you cannot buy tickets at the entry gate. You need to show your online ticket either printed or downloaded at the entry gate and they will issue a good bus for you. And take note all the members should keep their tickets in hand until the main entry gate of the gallery. People cannot carry large bags and water bottles and any kind of foods with you when you enter. Water and food are only allowed for children under 2 years. There are luggage counter at the entrance of the main gallery where you can keep your belongings safely. It is better to keep nearly thre hours for visiting all the galleries. This is a military museum, so, they have exposed objects absolutely related to war and military equipments. Theme of the museum is very much pertinent to the history of Bangladesh and also overseas contributions of Bangladeshi forces. The museum is well maintained and beautifully decorated. There are people from the forces to guide you inside the museum. The gift the Navy gallery at the basement, army at the ground floor and Air Force at the top. Beside the museum there are also Cineplex and amphitheater and some conference rooms. And there is enough parking places for both cars and motorcycles. Parking tickets cost 50 for cars and 30 for motorcycles.

Great to visit with family and kids. Place of history. You will find weapons and vehicles used in the war of 1971. You will also might the current technological advances and weapons that Bangladesh currently possesses and uses. The place has a huge parking lot. You have to pay BDT 50 for the parking. Each ticket will cost you BDT 100. For children under 3 it's free. You can purchase the ticket online or directly from their booth. It has four different sections. Toshakhana which has 4-5 floors at its own, showing all the historical items related Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Honourable prime minister Sheikh Hasina, different presents from different countries and so much more. 2 part consists of 5 floors, bottom two showing the weapons and systems of The Navy, 1st floor demonstrates the Army, the 2nd floor demonstrates the Air force, and the final one showcases UN. In the third part, you will find the 3D art section which will cost another BDT 100. You can buy the ticket from inside. The final part contains the historical armour vehicles of Bangladesh. The whole place is accessible by wheelchair, has elevators, clean and well maintained washrooms. Please be advised, do not throw away your ticket until you have entered the main building. The Museum also has one restaurant and a cafe. It also has a movie theater. You can spend about 3-4 hours with your family very easily.

বঙ্গবন্ধু মিলিটারি স্টেডিয়াম। বিজয় সরণির ব্যস্ততম সড়কে অবস্থিত নান্দনিক ও চমৎকার স্থাপত্যের এক অনন্য নমুনা। ফ্যামিলি নিয়ে সারাদিন কাটিয়ে দেয়ার মত উপযুক্ত একটি জায়গা। মিলিটারি স্টেডিয়াম সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত তুলে ধরছি এই পোস্টে। প্রবেশ মূল্য ১০০ টাকা। পাঁচ বছরের নিচে বাচ্চাদের ফ্রি। চাইলে অনলাইনে অথবা সরাসরি গিয়ে টিকিট কাটা যাবে। যদিও দুই শিফট বলা হয়, তবে আমার মতে এখন শিফট বলতে কিছু নেই। সকাল দশটা থেকে সন্ধ্যা ছয়টার মধ্যে যখন ইচ্ছে প্রবেশ করে ঘুরে বেরিয়ে আসতে পারবেন। তবে পুরো ফ্যাসিলিটি এতটাই বিশাল যে, পরিপূর্ণ ঘুরে শেষ করতে গেলে নিম্নে তিন ঘন্টা লাগবেই। মূলগেট যেখানে টিকিট দেখাতে হয়, সেখানে কোন কিছু জমা নেবে না। তবে মূল ভবনে প্রবেশ করবার আগে এয়ারপোর্ট ইমিগ্রেশন এর মত চেকিং হবে। কোন ধরনের খাবার ইত্যাদি নেয়া নিষিদ্ধ। এমনকি পানির বোতলও এলাউ করা হয় না। যা একটু খারাপই লেগেছে। প্রবেশ করার আগেই কিছু খাওয়া-দাওয়া এবং পান করার কাজ সেরে নিতে হবে। চেকিং এর পাশেই লকার ব্যবস্থা আছে। মূল্যবান কিছু চাইলে ফ্রিতে লকারে রাখা যাবে। আর হ্যাঁ, পুরো ফ্যাসিলিটির দায়িত্বে রয়েছে আর্মিরা। তাই সব জায়গায় নিট এন্ড ক্লিন একটি পরিবেশ বিরাজ করবে। সম্পূর্ণ সেন্ট্রালাইজড এসি। ময়লার নাম গন্ধ নেই। ঢুকলেই মনে হবে বিদেশী কোন স্থাপনয় চলে এসেছেন। প্রবেশ করা মাত্র তিনটি ভবন পাশাপাশি চোখে পড়বে। প্রথমেই জাদুঘর ভবন, যেটায় আপনি দাঁড়িয়ে আছেন। ডান দিকের ভবনটি হলো তোষাখানা। আর বাম দিকে রয়েছে 3D থ্রিডি আর্ট গ্যালারি। টিকিটের ১০০ টাকা দিয়ে থ্রিডি আর্ট গ্যালারিতে ছাড়া বাকি সব জায়গায় প্রবেশ করা যাবে। তবে আর্ট গ্যালারিতে প্রবেশ করতে হলে ১০০ টাকা দিয়ে আবার টিকিট কিনতে হবে। যেটা আমার কাছে ভালো লাগেনি। তাছাড়া ওভার প্রাইসড্ লেগেছে। ভবনগুলো নিয়ে একটু আলোচনা করি। জাদুঘর ভবনের আন্ডার গ্রাউন্ডে নৌবাহিনী সেকশন। নিচ তলায় বাংলাদেশের পুরো ইতিহাস খুব সুন্দর করে তুলে ধরা হয়েছে । এমনকি যুদ্ধের নানান অস্ত্রগুলো পর্যন্ত সচ্ছ কাঁচে শোভা পাচ্ছে। মোটামুটি প্রচলিত সকল অস্ত্রের নাম জেনে যাবেন। দ্বিতীয় তলায় সেনাবাহিনী এবং তৃতীয় তলায় বিমানবাহিনীর সেকশন। প্রত্যেকটি সেকশনে প্রত্যেক বাহিনীকে খুব সুন্দরভাবে পোট্রে করা হয়েছে অর্থাৎ ফুটিয়ে তোলা হয়েছে। বাংলাদেশের সামরিক বাহিনী সম্পর্কে বিস্তর পড়াশোনার সুযোগ পাবেন। হাতে-কলমে ডামি তৈরি করে সমস্ত সামরিক বাহিনীর কার্যক্রম নিখুঁতভাবে দেখিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছে। খুব এনজয় করবেন। পার্সোনালি আমার কাছে নৌবাহিনীর সেকশনটি সবচাইতে ভালো লেগেছে। বিশেষ করে সাবমেরিনে প্রবেশের অনুভূতি এক কথায় অনবদ্য ছিল। এই ভবনের ৩য় তলা দিয়ে বাইরে বের হওয়া যায়। একদম উপর থেকে নিচ তলা পর্যন্ত গোলাকার একটা রাস্তা বানানো। রাস্তার দু'ধারে সারি সারি যুদ্ধের বাহন সাজিয়ে রাখা। একদম কাছ থেকে যুদ্ধের সামগ্রী দেখার অনুভূতি প্রকাশ করা সম্ভব নয়। গোল রিং এর মাঝখানে কৃত্রিম জলাশয় তৈরি করে জাহাজ ও সাবমেরিন সাজিয়ে রাখা হয়েছে। এগুলো বাস্তবে কতটা সুন্দর, কেউ না দেখলে বোঝানো মুশকিল। এখান থেকে নেমে আবার মূল জাদুঘর ভবনে প্রবেশ করা যাবে। তোশাখানা পাঁচ তলা বিশিষ্ট ভবন, যার একদম পুরোটাই বঙ্গবন্ধু পরিবারকে ডেডিকেট করা। শেখ মুজিবের সম্পূর্ণ জীবনী থেকে শুরু করে জীবনের প্রতিটি অংশ এখানে ছবিসহ তুলে ধরা হয়েছে। কিছুই বাদ দেয়া হয়নি। সেই সাথে প্রধানমন্ত্রী কখন কোথায় গিয়েছেন, কার সাথে ছবি তুলেছেন, কি কি পুরস্কার পেয়েছেন সব কিছু বিস্তারিত এখানে সাজিয়ে রাখা হয়েছে। বাংলাদেশের অনেক দুর্লভ পুরস্কার চোখে পড়লো। কালেকশানগুলো বেশ অবাক করেছে সবাইকে। আর একদম মাঝখানে শেখ মুজিবের বিশাল ভাস্কর্য দেখে সবাই চরম বিস্মিত হয়েছি। থ্রিডি আর্ট গ্যালারি ২ তলা বিশিষ্ট ভবন, তবে আন্ডার গ্রাউন্ডে কাজ চলছে। কয়েকমাসের মধ্যে ওটাও ওপেন করে দেয়া হবে। এই ভবনের পুরোটাই ছবি তোলার জন্য ডেডিকেটড। প্রচুর থ্রিডি আর্ট রয়েছে, যেগুলোর সাথে ছবি তুললে একদম বাস্তব বাস্তব মনে হবে। যেমন আপনি শেখ হাসিনার সাথে বৈঠকরত ছবি তুলতে পারবেন। আপনার শেখ মুজিবের পাশে দাড়ানো অবস্থাতেও তুলতে পারবেন। ছবি তোলার প্রতি আগ্রহ না থাকলে এই ভবনে ১০০ টাকা দিয়ে প্রবেশ করার কোন অর্থ নেই। সব কিছু দেখা শেষ করে জাদুঘর ভবন থেকে বের হওয়ার পর সেখানে আর প্রবেশ করার সুযোগ নেই। বাইরে বের হওয়া মাত্র অত্যন্ত সুন্দর সাজানো গোছানো বাগান নজর কাড়বে। বসে সময় কাটানোর জন্য বেঞ্চ রয়েছে। তবে এখানে সেখানে বা ঘাসের উপর বসার অনুমতি নেই। ওখানে আরো বেশ কিছু জিনিস দেখতে পাওয়া যাবে। যেমন, ডান দিকে উন্মুক্ত মঞ্চ, কফিশপ ইত্যাদি আর বাম দিকে ঠান্ডা ও গরম খাবার পানি (নিজস্ব গ্লাস নিয়ে গেলে ভালো হবে। ওখানে সবার জন্য মাত্র ২টি গ্লাস রাখা), ক্যাফেট্রিয়া / রেস্টুরেন্ট, গোল সার্কেল, সিনেপ্লেক্স, কেএফসি ও বের হওয়ার রাস্তা। একদম শেষ
