Palais 12 in Brussels was the place to be on Saturday, September 16, 2023, for the highly anticipated concert of Fred again.. The British DJ and producer has been taking the world by storm with his unique blend of electronic music, house, and R&B, and his live show is second to none.
As soon as Fred again.. took the stage, the crowd erupted in cheers. He opened with his hit song "Marea (We've Lost Dancing)," and the energy in the room was electric. From there, he launched into a non-stop set of his biggest hits, including "Billie (Loving Arms)," "Jungle," and "Actual Life (April 14th - 2022)."
Fred again.. is a master of his craft, and his live show is a testament to his talent. He seamlessly blends his own productions with samples of classic songs, and he creates a truly immersive experience for his audience. The visuals at the Palais 12 show were also incredible, with massive LED screens that displayed stunning visuals throughout the night.
One of the highlights of the show was when Fred again.. brought out special guest Flowdan to perform their collaboration "Rumble." The crowd went wild as Flowdan delivered his energetic rap, and the energy in the room was palpable.
Another highlight was when Fred again.. played his new single "Feel So Good." The song is a collaboration with Swedish House Mafia, and it is one of the most anticipated dance tracks of the year. The crowd sang along to every word, and it was clear that everyone was having an amazing time.
Fred again.. closed out his set with his biggest hit to date, "M1 x 2." The crowd went ballistic, and the energy in the room was at a fever pitch. It was the perfect way to end an unforgettable night of music.
Overall, the Fred again.. concert at Palais 12 was an absolute triumph. Fred again.. is a truly gifted artist, and his live show is a must-see for any fan of electronic music. The energy in the room was electric all night long, and the crowd was left wanting more.

Read moreI don’t recommend this venue. I recently went to see a ballet (Swan Lake) in Palais 12. First, before entering the building, the staff said that I could only take my bottle of water without a cap and they took the cap off. Several meters farther, other staff members did not let me enter the concert hall even with my uncapped bottle. All this doesn’t make any sense. I would understand if it was in a theatre with good quality carpets, armchairs, etc. But the ballet took place in an industrial looking hall, with concrete floor and plastic chairs. I can’t see what could be destroyed by mineral water there. By the way, I could see a lot of other people later in the concert hall bringing beer in disposable cups from the bar located in the same building. I don’t understand how come they were allowed to enter. It seems there is a different policy for drinks bought on the spot and brought from elsewhere although this is not openly said. Another issue, the show started with an over-20-minute delay which would be acceptable for a rock concert but is quite annoying if you go to see a ballet. If Palais 12 aspires to organise theatre-like shows, it should also apply theatre standards. It would be better if the staff put more effort into ensuring everybody is sitting by the time the show should start, rather than frantically checking water bottles… Uncomfortable seats, little legroom. One of ceiling lamps on the left side of the concert hall incorrectly regulated blinding me for one hour when I was waiting for the show. No chairs/benches to sit outside of the concert hall. The place is not well connected by public transport. Although there is a metro line less than 1 km away, the frequency of trains in the evening is 1 per 20 minutes (and the same frequency on other metro lines in case you need to change the line) which makes the way back quite cumbersome. There are also works on a nearby tram line (tram replaced by a bus on a part of the line with no indication of temporary stops). Last but not least, although this is not direct fault of the venue, apparently it attracts peculiar public. There was a bunch of people right behind me talking in a loud voice during the show, one of them even whistling the tune of the Swan Lake! Never seen anything like this! There was also a lady with a very young kid with a dummy in his mouth (at a show lasting from 8 to 11 p.m. while there was another show for kids at 3 p.m.). The only positive thing I can say is that the sound...
Read moreTerrible lack of organisation, no respect for the concerts schedule or ticket categories. For the ATEEZ concert on 18.2.2023 the lines for all 3 vip categories were combined into one, causing quite a mess for people trying to line up and the golden circle line was not indicated in any way at all. Vips were let inside the venue two hours before the time specified by organisers(a lot of people who went to the toilet for example lost their place in line and/or were separated from their friends) and among vips some golden circle(not vip) ticket holders were also let in - granting them benefits that weren't supposed to be included in their tickets. Once golden circle and general admition were let inside the venue, security didn't stop people from running, which created quite a dangerous situation. And the security once again failed to do their job properly when people in the pit started fainting, taking up to several minutes to notice and do something about the situation. The venue itself is not very good for concerts in my opinion, it's very long so unless you're very very close to the stage you won't see much. The seated sections are also very flat, so if the person in front of you is stands up theres a good chance they'll completely block your view even if you...
