La Petite Fourchette — Restaurant in Grimbergen

I went to this restaurant with a few friends of mine before going to a concert just in front. We booked for 6 pm but unfortunately, due to the traffic, we had a delay of 30 minutes. The restaurant called while we were on our way and we confirmed our presence with the 30-minute delay. They said that there was no problem and thanked us for confirming.

We arrived and a waiter showed us our table. Two minutes later (I'm not exaggerating) another waited came to take our order. We quickly ordered and the food arrived shortly after. We were impressed by the speed. I ordered some noodled with vegetables, whose vegetables were mostly onions. The others ordered some meat-based dishes. As soon as one of us finished their dish, a waiter would come to take their plate. We felt like they were on a clock and there was no time to waste. One of us asked for a doggy bag so his food wouldn't be thrown away.

When we all finished our meal, we chatted a bit (it was not even 7 pm at this point) but a waiter came to pick up the empty glasses, making the friend who was still drinking a bit uncomfortable. They asked us if we wanted some dessert but we politely declined and kept chatting for a few seconds. We were interrupted by another waiter asking us if we wanted some dessert (yes, again), which was more a message like "if you're not ordering anything else, then leave". So, we left. We realised that they made us pay for the doggy bag, which is something that I've never seen before.

All in all, the food was good but the staff was close to terrible. We felt a bit attacked and under pressure during the whole meal. If you're quick eaters, you won't have any...

Fantastic restaurant close to the Brussels Expos. We're an organiser team from the UK and we went to La Petite Fourchette for 3 out of 5 nights for dinner there. The menu is great with plenty of selections and different cuisine for everyone to enjoy.

I'd also like to shout out to the staff Alan, he was FANTASTIC!!! his customer service and professionalism are impeccable. He looked after us every time we were there and was always pleasant and smiling and keeping up / on top of everything, even with our complicated requirements he handled it very well and was patient and accommodating (we had 22 ppl on one evening). He's a gem! Also thanks to Roudaris who handled our booking - he was quick/responsive to our request and gave us all information beforehand. He went the extra mile to answer my questions and take orders during his time off - much appreciated.

The food was great too and very big portion - everyone enjoyed their meal. We look forward to coming back next year!! THANKS...

Lovely! The waiters were jovial from the get-go and the vibe is charming. There is a big bouquet of flowers hanging in the room. The flowers are fake of course, but it gives the room a romantic touch. The food was delicious. It's a blend of Asian and Greek cuisine. I was full just with the starter meal. It allowed me to have small bites of many types of food. The only thing I didn't like was when I asked for a glass of red wine the waiter just brought me their house wine without asking me which one I wanted. The bathroom was clean.

Is it kid-friendly? There are no toddler chairs but if your child can manage to sit on an adult chair it's no problem. There is no kids menu. No...
