This museum forced me to read novel by Charles de Coster, falling in love with Belgium. I’ve been to this museum twice (in 2017 and 2019), and I do plan to get back as soon as my Dutch gets better.

Recommended for curious minds with love for folklore...

Als je in Damme bent moet je natuurlijk ook het Rijk Uilenspiegel museum bezoeken. Opvallend is, dat als je niet weet waar het is je er ook niet komt. Het ligt in het VVV, maar een verwijzing is ver te zoeken. Het museum geeft een goed overzicht van ee handel en wandel van deze deugniet. Een soort Belgische Dik Trom, maar dan minder leuk en op eigen belang en gewin gericht. Grappig om te zien. Maar zie je het niet dan mis je ook niet...
