From the (sort of) Belvedere, you’ll enjoy a privileged sight of the Corcovado - with its emblematic Christ the Redeemer - Sugar Loaf, Urca Neighborhood, Pier Gloria, Rodrigo de Freitas Lake, Guanabara Bay… HOWEVER, mind the time you arrive there. Theoretically, they’ll let you go up the very narrow street that leads to the top of the mountain until 5 pm. But you have to stay there to watch the sunset. It’s difficult to get an Uber from there, though, but eventually a driver will accept the ride. There are taxi drivers there just in case. Just remember to ask how much it will cost you for the driver to take you wherever before you enter the cab.
