We drove from Bertioga to Guarujá. The coast road makes a beautiful and pleasant drive. The aquarium was very busy. The queue for getting the tickets was a little messy but it was fast - note that you get a discount for cash payment! There was a good enough variety of fishes, the displays seemed to be well taken care of. The signs talking about the different species were better at the beginning of the tour. Read moreI’ve been here in 2007 and then in 2016. It was a wonderful place and so entertaining but currently it’s a shame what happened. The lack of maintenance everywhere will ruin your experience. Many glasses around are dirty, some info panels are broken or fading, there are spider webs even inside some animals habits that I’m pretty sure is not part of the attraction, termites are consuming some displays, some staff members don’t communicate properly with you. The kids had lots of fun but it felt like the aquarium lacked funds to keep up on maintenance. The place had definantly gone downhill from my last visit 10 years ago.
