I recently took my little one to Brighton races on a quiet Monday, and despite the weather, we had a very enjoyable time. The venue was pleasantly quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxed day out with my toddler. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, allowing us to enjoy the races without the usual hustle and bustle. A special shout-out goes to Havva, a member of the staff, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Despite there being no ice cream van on site due to the weather, Havva took it upon herself to get my son an ice cream. As any parent knows, toddlers aren’t deterred by something as trivial as the weather when it comes to ice cream! Her kindness made a big difference to our day, and we truly appreciated the extra effort. The fog that rolled in during the final race added an unexpected twist to the afternoon. It was quite fun to watch the horses break out of the mist as they approached the final furlong. It gave the race an almost cinematic quality, and it was an experience that we’ll remember fondly. Overall, the people were great, the setting was charming, and we had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back for another visit to Brighton races. If you’re looking for a relaxed and family-friendly day out, I highly recommend it!

I was a member of a party that attended an important birthday party at the Silks restaurant last week. We all enjoyed the occasion. The meal was very good and the staff were very helpful and informative .The only thing that spoiled the pleasant day was that the disable toilet was two floors down from the restaurant, this meant to gain access to the disable toilet you had to go down to the ground floor by a very slow lift and cross the way to another building . It was very time consuming and spoiled the occasion a bit for us to lose a member of the party for a period of time. We noticed that in the eating area that there was a room called the "Smoking Room"...would it a better use of facilities to convert the "Smoking Room " into a Disable toilet , to make disable people fill more included. We would love to visit the restaurant again but this situation makes us think twice about booking another meal at the Brighton horse racing course.

If weather is good great views over Brighton and coast. Silks Restaurant -advisable to pre book large outdoor patio (for viewing only no tables!) with direct access from Silks. Excellent spot to view the Finish line and also the paddock. Whilst indoors CCTV of Races shown on monitors with commentary. TOTE betting conveniently located in Silks. If your a Gin lover you may be disappointed as when we were there only 2 Gin labels in stock. No fever tree tonic! No Ricard or Pernod. Limited choice on coffee, either black or with milk! Serving staff lack training had to ask for dishes to be cleared to have space for coffee. Could not pour Champagne without killing the bubble! The quality of the food was excellent. Staff are very friendly but not trained. Table orders were taken on rotation round the table. But the servers had no clue who ordered what! Management need to communicate and train staff better

I recently attended a crystal show at Brighton Racecourse, and it was fantastic! The venue was perfect, with an amazing variety of crystals—from raw stones to polished pieces and stunning jewelry. What made it truly special was that I could bring my black Labrador, Shadow, and he stole the show! Several people said meeting him made their day, and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere extended to him, too. The exhibitors were incredibly knowledgeable and happy to share their passion, making the whole experience both fun and educational. As a first-timer, I didn’t know what to expect, but I left with beautiful finds, wonderful memories of Shadow making friends, and a new love for crystals. Highly recommend visiting—it's an unforgettable experience!

Went for the car boot sale, seemed like a good place to make some money out of your house clearance. Entry fee was £10, we arrived at 8am. It was a foggy, windy day therefore not as busy as we hoped for. There was a food one selling hot food and drinks, toilet facility right behind it. It is a good pleace to look for cheap furniture, clothes brick a brack, sweets, unusual trinkets... Anything goes really. Recommended for making some extra cash or a morning out flea shopping.

Hat's off to Brighton racecourse!! They have thought of everything and in my opinion deserve to have higher class races there. The track was in excellent condition and the premises were clean and tidy. Enough staff to keep the queues short and plenty of seats. They even have a free funfair for the kids. The view's are amazing from up on the racecourse and we had a lovely day. Thank you Brighton racecourse and good luck for the future!!
