I been there a few times but each time, the experience is a little bit different. I read that the first year they opened was the best in terms of lighs and music. There are a few entrances and one of the google listing is not accurate as it leads you to an empty lot. One time I went with my friend and the lights were not moving at all. Probably somone left the music on and went away. My friend was pretty disappointed considering I shared what I saw before and it was so much better. When I tried to message them on social media to see what may have happened or whether they have different schedule as to when the lights are not moving, they gave me a generic no answer response. Overall, it is pretty neat if you are on the way to Ottawa and Montreal or coming from Quebec and going towards Ontario. There is no entrance fee. There is even a business that organize train rides but not involved directly with BrockVille Tunnel. Google for more info. Make sure to wear something when u go inside the tunnel as it may be cold, wet and dampy. Parking is not free but is super cheap. There are some limited days where it is free but it...

Visiting the Brockville Railway Tunnel was a unique and fascinating experience! Walking through Canada’s oldest railway tunnel felt like stepping back in time, with the historic stone walls and vintage railway tracks adding to the atmosphere. The LED light show along the length of the tunnel was absolutely mesmerizing, changing colors and creating reflections that made the tunnel feel magical and modern all at once.

The tunnel is also refreshingly cool inside, which was perfect on a warm day. It’s an easy walk, and the information plaques along the way provided interesting historical insights. Whether you're a history buff or just curious to see something truly different, the Brockville Railway Tunnel is a hidden gem...

We had a great time walking through the Brockville Railway Tunnel. The colourful lights made the whole place feel magical and gave the rough stone walls so much character. It reminded us a lot of the tunnels in Niagara Falls, though this one is definitely on a smaller, more intimate scale. What made it extra special was reading about the history and imagining the role this tunnel once played for trains and industry. It’s well kept, easy to walk, and a fun stop if you’re in the area. The only thing we thought could make the experience even better would be if they offered one-way train rides through it; round trips are fine, but having that option would...

An amazing stop in Brockville, especially if you're on your way to Montreal! The historic railway tunnel is beautifully restored with colorful LED lights and background music — it feels like stepping into a piece of living history. The walk is short, cool, and atmospheric. There’s also a small ride-on train inside the tunnel that kids absolutely love — such a fun experience for families. It's free, well-maintained, and very unique. Highly recommended for a quick yet memorable stop.

This was a nice short detour while on our way to Montreal. This tunnel is very beautiful and has a lot of history and architecture of olden days explained through the sign boards (so, do read them). This tunnel has light effects that gives a different look to the tunnel. It also has moving lights that gives you the feeling of a running train through the tunnel. Wait for it while you are here and you will be mesmerized.
