I ordered my food with mango lassi through Uber Eats and when my food arrived, it came without mango lassi so I called the restaurant and they said someone will come and deliver the mango lassi (without apologizing about missing item). I waited for about an hour thinking the mango lassi will come soon but nobody showed up and I had to quit eating my food because I waited for mango lassi which made my food cold. Very disappointed. Edit: after the response from restaurant owner: If it’s the fault of the driver of Uber Eats then why didn’t you tell me that when I called the restaurant and why you told me that someone will come and deliver the mango lassi. You should have told me that you gave the lassi to the driver and also you should have called the uber eats driver and asked him why he didn’t give the lassi to me. You don’t believe that I quit my food because of mango lassi then please check the attached picture of the food that I just threw in the garbage. Edit: Received a call back from the owner. Very apologetic and offered me a complimentary mango lassi and one more food item on him next time when I order food. Thank you for the call and will surely visit the restaurant when I come back next time.

We chose Indian Cuisine Hub to cater for our nearly 200-guest wedding in October 2023, and it was an absolute delight working with Dhara and his team. They were consistently accommodating of our specific needs, providing valuable suggestions to enhance our food service. Our initial food tasting at their restaurant assured us that we were in capable hands. Dhara, Anand, Naiyandeep, and the team went the extra mile in setting up the buffet and service stations for our two significant wedding events. The fresh, flavorful food was an instant hit, with many guests going for multiple rounds and expressing that they had never experienced such delicious Indian cuisine in Canada before. We highly recommend Indian Cuisine Hub for catering events, whether it's a small family gathering or a large-scale wedding. Our positive experience extends beyond the wedding, as we frequently order from their restaurant in Brockville and have never been disappointed.

My recent visit left me with somewhat mixed feelings. On the one hand, the service was nice but our server did not systematically remove used dishes that piled up on our table. The ambiance of the restaurant was quite pleasant, creating a nice atmosphere for dining. However, the buffet I opted for unfortunately fell short in a significant way: the food was simply too salty. Each dish I tried seemed to suffer from an overabundance of salt, which unfortunately overpowered the other flavors. Furthermore, the meat content in the various dishes was surprisingly sparse. It was often difficult to find more than a few small pieces, which was quite disappointing. While the warm service and agreeable setting are definitely points, the overly salty and meat-deficient buffet was a letdown. For future visits, I might be inclined to try their menu options instead, hoping for a better balance of flavors and ingredients.

Food was too salty. Dishes were confusing in flavor. Kadai tasted like dansak, jalfrazi tasted like rogonjosh. Byrani was not mixed properly , you can see the unmixed white rice. And the salt, my god... I will probably need hydrating fluid after few hours. Nans were too hard , almost needed wd40 to get it down. Unfortunately, I had to finish the food as I don't waste food. Service was ok, table left with used dishes for long time, we had to ask the table to be cleaned. I see good rating on the restaurant, perhaps there is nothing else to compare with in Brockville. I am hoping I don't lose a liver or kidney from the salt. My teeth hurts thinking about it.

Update: See below response from owner.

My response to the owners feedback: I was giving feedback on the food you served. If you do not like what I said you should take your restaurant ad off Google. You might have 20 years experience in cooking Indian food but I have 40 years experience eating Indian food, so I know the difference aswell. Your food did not meet the standard at the minimum. To explain it clearly it was rubbish. I can cook better food with my eyes close at home. No one wants to go a place and pay good money to eat subpar food.

You can take my feedback and try to do better next time, instead you decided to response with denial.

Let me go further with my feedback. Your restaurant smelled like mold, bathroom had an urinal clogged and overflowing, mens bathroom door does not fully close and your kitchen is right across from it and kitchen door was open. Your bathroom floor was dirty, door handle was so dirty that I would not touch it with a 10 ft pole . I am not there to trial food and ask you change it. Serve good food first time and you won't have unhappy customers. Why would I go to Kingston to compare food, you may want to try that, might learn something.

You might not have a customer who lost a kidney or liver yet, but you are chances are not getting any better when you serve trash like that.

Say sorry, I may consider re reviewing this review. Also if you are going to response, use punctuation, I had to read it 10 times to decipher...

I regret to express my disappointment with the restaurant located directly below my apartment. While I acknowledge the efforts the establishment puts into creating a lively atmosphere, the persistent issue of excessively loud music has been a source of considerable concern. The volume of the music frequently reaches a level where it permeates my living space, overpowering any other ambient sounds such as my television or everyday activities.

I wish to emphasize that my attempts to address this matter have been met with disappointment. I have visited the restaurant in person and made phone calls to voice my concerns, only to be met with rudeness and dismissive attitudes from the staff. These complaints were by no means unreasonable, as they pertained to the impact of the restaurant’s operations on the immediate residential community.

It is disheartening to note that this issue appears to be a recurring one, as other neighbors have also voiced their grievances in the past, only to see their concerns go unaddressed. I sincerely hope that the management of the restaurant takes a more proactive stance in rectifying this situation and demonstrating a greater regard for the peace and comfort of its neighboring residents.

In closing, while I understand the importance of maintaining an enjoyable dining environment, it is equally crucial for the restaurant to respect the peace and well-being of those residing in the vicinity. I trust that the management will consider this feedback as a constructive opportunity to enhance their approach and foster a more harmonious relationship with the...

I may be biased, both because I love Indian food already and because this place is in walking distance and very close to where I live, but I could see this restaurant being one of my favourite go-to's in Brockville right now. They are still relatively new so rapport with a regular clientele might not be entirely there yet but already this place is taking strides to better establish itself within Brockville. The word is out, reviews are good, live venues are planned, and Doordash delivery is available alongside the usual eat-in and take-out options. A liquor licence is on its way if not already acquired. And, yes, there is a kid's menu.

Spacious, well-lit and well-decorated interior with a comfortable yet elegant atmosphere and a very generous menu with lots to choose from. Fast service for what it offers, too, since curry can take a good while to prepare. We celebrated my birthday here and I was glad to know that the restaurant was able to accommodate those members of my family who were not as well-acquainted with the stronger flavours of Indian cuisine as I was by providing varying degrees of spiciness to their dishes.

Already I've had two of my favourites and am looking forward to coming back to try more dishes. Because there is a LOT to choose from. If you did enjoy the Tandoori Mint before it shut down, I think you will find that the Indian Food Hub picks up that mantle quite well while also standing out in its own way. And even if not, there is always time to try...
