🗿 Review of the Brotherly Mound Monument, Sofia 🌳🌞

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Discovering the Brotherly Mound Monument in Sofia is an experience that starts with a delightful journey through a serene park, setting the stage for the awe-inspiring sight that awaits. This monument isn't just a structure; it's a powerful symbol of inspiration and motivation.

As I walked towards it, I was struck by its majestic presence. Standing tall and proud, this piece of art encapsulates the spirit of Sofia in its grandeur. It's more than just a visit; it's an opportunity to bask in its remarkable aura.

As an International Remote Personal Trainer and Life Coach, I'm always searching for sources of inspiration and strength, both for myself and to share with others. The Brotherly Mound Monument embodies these qualities perfectly. It's a physical representation of standing tall against challenges, much like the journey of personal growth and resilience I guide my clients through.

I highly recommend a visit to this monument. It's not just a sight to see; it's a moment to feel – an embodiment of the triumphant spirit. Let it inspire you, as it did me, and remind you of the strength and pride that we all...

Imagine three rows of pioneers waving tiny red flags, teachers sweating in the summer sun, the orchestra playing the anthem, the WW2 veterans in chairs and uniforms, full of medals, also waving...to the great brother Brezhnev kissing the little brother Zhivkov in the middle of this place. "Come, comrade, i brushed my teeth today". Left, right, left, right, left again, mouth, right...people are confused, yet don't dare to stop waving, there might be milizia-eyes watching.

Fast forward...Brezhnev is gone, Zhivkov is gone, communism is dead, and so is the brotherhood. The last remnants of the glory days are destined to follow, since no one cares about them anymore. See them...

It's part of history, the people placing one star reviews are unfortunately brainwashed and triggered by everything that has to do with the past especially if it's even slightly related to Russia, Bulgarian government should take care of it more because it is neglected and left as an open target by idiots with graffiti sprays. Respect your history, long live the communist era and the USSR(even if Bulgaria wasn't in it but was a satellite) because they left us these beautiful...

The Brotherly Mound Monument is now a relic from the era of communist rule in Bulgaria. It’s initial construction was as a memorial to the fighters of fascism (Red Army and the Partisan forces of Bulgaria) during the Second World War. The monument has been seemingly left to rot away and is now host to graffiti condemning the Red Army’s presence in Bulgaria. The monument is still striking however and is still worth a visit purely for its historical significance.
