Bluerock Gallery — Attraction in Alberta

What a wonderfully curated gallery/shop! I was surprised at how extensive the selection of this shop was, and everything is clearly very high quality, though there are definitely products in all price ranges. Definitely worth the drive, we easily spent 90 minutes exploring everything they had to offer.

Special shout-out to Annika who was truly lovely to chat with, she knew so much about the art pieces and was a delightful host.

And kudos to the curator of the book selection, clearly a lot of care and dedication has gone into the choices on the shelves, there were a number of times where I did a double take when I saw certain books and topics there, incredible work on that! Picked up a few I’m looking forward to...

What a gem of a store!!! You simply must stop by!!! The store has a little bit of everything. Local artisans such as ceramics, jewelry, glass, cards and many other items- you will for sure find something special! Lots of unique other gifts, too, such as a paint it yourself shadow box. And their book selection is exquisite - I could have bought something in each section, and had to content myself with picking two. I personally find conservative or realistic paintings boring. They do carry "safe" themed art pieces, but they are all created so uniquely and stylistically - such a pure eye candy! I get big sparkly inspiration as an artist every time I go visit. I love that they also sell handmade jewellery, glass work, ceramics, greeting cards and more! The staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable about their products. They surely make your road trip in the area...
