Foothills Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Alberta

Do to being handicapped and not able to pick up my own food from here i have it delivered!! Every time I get my order the prices have been changed and it cost 7 dollars to deliver 3kms out of town!! There seems to be someone adding dollar to each item i order and 3 dollar delivery plus 7 dollar delivery how does that work!! And at 3 dollars delivery they will deliver to anywhere in Turner valley!! The driver stands around fumbling waiting for you to say keep the change!! And now since I've complained they have raised the delivery fee to 10 dollars!! They have no handicap entrance to wit i will be putting in a complaint to town planing and health board also when i complained about the price changes the driver was as rude as can be to me because he got caught is my guess!! Anyway i will be putting in a formal complaint with the town and the handicap society and the health board!! I spend alot of money on ordered food and i order from all the restaurants in town! On average 1oo dollars to each one per month im on a fiixed income and can't afford to pay one certain driver 3x the amount every other place charges!! I try to support all the town businesses but this one will no longer have my support!! I think people who gain by exploiting other people with disabilities by charging extra to be unfair and uncalled for!! I will be in contact with who ever i need to be in order for this to stop!! I am disgusted with the place and will do my best to let all handicapped associations know about the situation!!! From now on Ed and Nancy will not be getting any of my business do to a certain delivery driver!! I would also like to add that other restaurants in the area have free delivery even on an acreage outside of town with a way better selection and service and when offering 2 for 1 pizza at $38.50 delivered for 2 medium pizza's i think is a bit too expensive!! I can have a $ 14.00 meal delivered for $14.00 so from now on no more foothills pizza for me!! My husband and I are both from New York City where we enjoyed the BEST pizza in the world. When we moved to Alberta, pizza is the one of the things we miss the most. Even highly recco'd pizza here would come as a huge dissapointment to us. We called it the 'alberta tomato sauce' as its just usually awful here. Well, I was surprised to find 'the closest thing to NY pizza' right here in the foothills! The cheese pizza on thin crust is the BEST I have ever had since living in Alberta. The owner just gets it. The tomato sauce is excellent and so is the cheese pull (if you know, you know) The owner and his wife were so kind to us giving us a tour of the kitchen and even giving us an extra pie to take home. It was a busy place, I would almost say 'bustling' for the middle of the foothills and that made me feel at home too. My suggestion to them would be to put the cheese pizza on thin crust on the menu as a NEW YORK Pizza or they could even name is after us The Dioguardis. Had one of the best Pizza's ever. The place is one of the best if anyone wants to enjoy authentic Pizza's. The owner, Mr. Imad (Eddie) is very humble and kind. We ordered a Greek Pizza and their Cheeziest Pizza and they were delicious. Couldn't have been better. We customized the order to be only vegetarian. The pizza was very fresh and just rightly baked. We also ordered vegetarian lasagne which was super good. The lasagne sauce was made in-house and we can taste the freshness. The owner offered us complimentary drinks, a can of Coke and Sprite, as during our conversation we mentioned its my wife's birthday. This was a very sweet and humble gesture by Mr. Imad. He also gave us a short tour of his kitchen and the place is very well kept, neat and tidy. Honestly speaking, we had one of the best dining experience at this restaurant.
