I stumbled upon the Dairy Queen in Black Diamond during our recent camping trip, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. Nestled in the picturesque surroundings, this Dairy Queen provided a much-needed treat after a day of outdoor adventures.
The first thing that caught my attention was the friendly staff. They greeted us with warm smiles and were eager to assist in creating our perfect ice cream concoctions. The menu offered an array of options, from classic sundaes to blizzards with creative mix-ins.
The cleanliness of the establishment was also commendable. Despite its remote location, the Dairy Queen was impeccably maintained, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. It was a great place to take a break, cool off, and enjoy our treats.
As for the ice cream itself, it was rich and creamy, just as one would expect from Dairy Queen. The flavors were on point, and the portions were generous. The taste of the ice cream paired perfectly with the outdoor ambiance, making for a memorable experience.
Whether you're passing through or planning a visit to Black Diamond, this Dairy Queen is definitely worth a stop. It offers a sweet escape from the camping routine, and the friendly service and delectable treats make it a charming addition to any...
Read moreOh man, I really wanted to be able to rave about this location. Unfortunately, the last 3 times I've ordered a chicken strip basket, the chicken has been old, chewy and barely warm. The second time I actually asked for fresh chicken and received old rubber again-after asking for fresh chicken!? I should know better, I just had hope I guess,. On top of that, the blizzards we ordered the last two times were soup. Haven't bought a blizzard since and don't plan to. Never going back as I've spent 40.00 on french fries because the chicken was inedible. Finally, I've learned my lesson. It's a shame as this is a new, local business and seemingly the staff blatently don't care. Whatever you do, go in to get your food. The drive through is a...
Read moreGood service, but it drives me crazy that they put a flat drink lid on their blizzards. The whole point of turning them upside down is lost. I go to other dq's, and the contents are usually above the edge of the cup, defying gravity as they turn one upside down! And when other stores do put a lid on, it's the high plastic one with the big hole so it doesn't make the entire length of your spoon sticky.
More often than not though the blizzard is mixed all the way through, which can be a bit of a crapshoot at some other dq's.
I still go once in a while as it's nice to have it in town.
Oh, and our of curiosity, how does 2 x $7.23 = $14.47? It costs me a penny more to order 2 together than two separate orders...
