I have written dozens of reviews and this is the first time I leave a 1-star review. The young asian cashier girl with glasses was purely rude. I was with my toddler and baby, and the cashier just seemed completely angry and annoyed by my toddler cause she kept talking to her. So I smiled and joked with the cashier girl to make it less tense. The cashier girl just completely cut me off and not let me finish my sentence, didn’t look at me, and called the next customer (when the store was very quiet and there was NO LINE at all!). I am a frequent dollarama shopper and have been to many different stores, I have never come across a rude staff, so I am sure the girl was just having a bad day (perhaps it was end of the day for her at around 5 pm on a Sunday). Please train your staff to have basic decency, customer service and patience. This kind of attitude is uncalled for, especially to a toddler. I am never coming back to this location. At checkout, there was no cashier at the counter. Suddenly, a blonde woman with a braid came over and looked at me with a hint of anger in her eyes. Without saying a single “hello,” she directly scanned my items and tossed them aside very rudely. She did not speak a single word to me the whole time. Read moreVery strict on the no refund or exchange. Can't exchange an item that was brought SAME day, brand new in box. Being a little lenient would have been nice, that would have been customer service.
Would have been OK with that, since it was written on receipt. However, I had to wait in line for 5 minutes because the cashier was chatting with a customer. He didn't start scanning the item until 3 minutes in. In beginning, I was the only one in the line, when he was done chatting, there were 3 people behind.
Only decided to tried to return the item because I had to buy stuff there. Instead, just went to Walmart for it.
