So it turns out that this company as a whole could care less about it's customer loyalty (25 yr customer) but rather potential lawsuits that may or may not even happen. Will never see another hard earned dollar from my pocket. I was refused indoor service due to my medical condition that doesn't allow me to wear a mask. Against the current mandated mask by-law, which clearly states to respect persons who fall under the exemption list, was completely ignored as there company policy. I guess CEO Gordon Chan feels he has the right now to discriminate and/or segregate people who he sees fit that may be different. Let's hope in the future they don't implement corporate policy to discriminate against race, gender, colour, etc. Godspeed.

Dealt with Kyle at this location. Came in looking to buy a pre build because I was frustrated trying to find GPU’s. To my amazement, they had the one I was looking for in stock. He took me from A to Z with the custom build, answered all of my questions, and I got it done within my budget. Very happy with the purchase. The service fees are a little pricy, however the quality of work is great and you really get what you pay for. 5/5 experience. Keep up the good work guys.

I just want to share an excellent experience with William (the best tech guy) at Canada’s Computer - Burlington Location. He made sure that everything was running smoothly and perfectly with my new PC. He took his time and effort, not only to fix but also build my PC completely. My PC is now looking beautiful because of him I’ll give this a 5 star. I will not hesitate to come back again. Thank you William.

2024 update: I order online to have the product picked up at the Burlington location. It was in stock at Mississauga but that was out of my way last week and I wanted that computer quickly. Now the past tense, guess where this is going....

After over a week I asked the staff at the Burlington location to put down their bongs and send it to Mississauga. In 10 minutes the order was ready for pickup.

Canada computers: fix this store or close it. It's not even useful for order pickup anymore! They never get it in even when it's coming from another store 30 minutes drive away!

I love this store, I just wish I didn't have to practically tackle staff to help when what I need is behind the counter.

Prices can't be beat but the people who work there sometimes seem like they should be.

I honestly stood there at the counter trying to get the attention of three sales reps who were so engrossed talking about a game that they couldn't be bothered to come over. I got the "one minute" finger from a dude who just had to gush about his GPU performance to the other reps...

When I walked out and he started to wave me down I gave him the same gesture back and left.

UPDATE: I've taken to ignoring the recommendations of staff here since they clearly know less about computers than they know about Fortnite. Frankly, I've started just calling in and having things placed aside for me to pick up.

Until my most recent experience, that is. I called shortly after the store opened and advised I'd be coming in to pick up these items that the rep confirmed were in stock, too my name, and said they'd be waiting for me behind the counter until the end of the day. I told him I'd be in around 12. When I came in shortly after 12 the store was busy so I walked around looking for some items I needed that I had trouble looking up on the website. I found four of them but none in stock and I know there is a lot of variety in this particular item. The sales rep came by and asked me if he could help. I told him what I wanted and he immediately said, "We don't sell those."

"That's funny, there are over 4 of them on your website," I said and he stared at me in shock.

I head to the counter and nobody there knew what I was talking about with the items I was assured would be ready. Suddenly the conversation turns to them asking me for the list again and I just lost it. How would I know the exact list of all the items off the top of my head when I called in and was told it was ready for me? I told them I don't need this bullshit. I'll order it online.

Look, I know marijuana is legal now but that doesn't mean you have to hit the pipe all day long. Do your damned job. It's bad enough the sales staff can't offer meaningful assistance with anything other than what colour LEDs you put in your case but now they're just going to ignore customers and screw them around?

Ok, then let's all just order online and have CC turn this location into a pickup Depot. Why have a retail location when it's full of morons and inept...

When they opened few years ago, they had much better prices than Tiger Direct but in time, the difference came to a minimum and for plenty of products actually, the price is higher than competition. Lately, they become quite greedy and if they will not invent, they will still push their policy in their favor. Let me give you some examples: I wanted to buy a Lenovo C540 all-in-one computer which Tiger Direct had it for $569 plus tax and Canada Computers had it for roughly $649. Since I live closer to Canada Computers, and their stated policy will kind of guaranteeing the price match, I tried to have the same deal at this location. I said 'kind of' because there is a very fine print which states that the rep can refuse to act at his discretion. The seller said that she simply doesn't want to honor the price match guaranteed policy because Canada Computers 'cannot afford it' . In some other instance, I wanted to buy a Windows 8 builder system but Canada Computers (besides that it had it for a higher price) imposed an 'invented' a policy where you have to buy some hardware in order to have this operating system sold to you. As in the first instance, I ended up buying this stuff from Tiger Direct without any hassle. Finally, I realized that it is worthy to put some extra mileage in order to get a better price and service (these guys when it comes to technical knowledge are sub-par too. The're simply some low wage young individuals who will con you the moment you'll give them the chance) After few years of stopping to use this store services, eventually I returned and I could see that they really improved the customer service quality and especially, the attitude towards customers. So my rating went from one star to three stars There are new people here and this fact put definitely a print on the shopping/service experience. Now I could deal with really professionals and when I've got in a pickle with a technical problem, they spent a great deal of time to help me (successfully). Totally...

I dropped off two hard drives, so the digital media could be removed and placed onto a thumb drive. When they were dropped off the tech was not in as there was some concern about one as it is older. I was told I would be called on Monday.

Call never came, so I called as I also knew I needed a thumb drive and would need to know size requirement. Well phone after several calls never gets answered, it goes to voicemail which is full. I tried couple days in a row at diffrent times.

Was in the area and I dropped in, was told they could not help with older hard drive as I would need to but adapters. ( not a very well stocked tech department).

Couple days after this i was called by the store, I was unable to answer, they did not leave me a voicemail, so I called back couple minutes later and well of course no one answered and voicemail full.

I stop into store, it is ready but I need a storage device, hum if you answered the phone I could have come prepared. Tech says I need a TB, I am like really for some photos, so I guess when I dropped the item off and told them what I wanted this was not recorded properly, I was very clear.

Regardless if gets done only it is not transferring very quick so I advise them I will return next day.

Next day comes I get called it is ready, I advise the caller I will be by after work so I will not be there till after 6 pm.

I arrive around 6.30 pm, and clerk I speak to says they have gone home, but he will be over shortly to help me and asks me to wait at service desk.

While waiting now there is another male in service area, pretty sure he might be in charge to a point. He asks can he help I explain I am here to pick up my item, he is like sorry, they have gone home for the night. Now based on my experience this far I am like , I told the person who called me I would be here after 6, I just finished working a 12 hr shift. He leaves to go find someone to help, I explain clerknis coming, he goes back to what ever he was doing.

Finally a clerk comes over, gets my item, I pay and out in a few minutes.

Let's work on our customer service folks, it is not...
