My girlfriend and I visited Beertown during the weekend and we were delighted by several things: Service/Hospitality: Upon entering we were promptly greeted and the hostess fulfilled our seating request that made it a much more comfortable sitting. Our server, "Josh," did a fantastic job. He was very prompt in taking and fulfilling our orders. He was working extremely hard that night during a very busy night. He was very kind and courteous. If you are hosting an event, I recommend Josh as your server. I appreciated the food arriving in split dishes to make it easy for me to share. Ambiance: The restaurant setting is very unique and welcoming with many fine touches such as beer keg lights, and a beer observation area. I specifically enjoyed the whole atmosphere that truly made it feel like a public house for everyone to enjoy. I am looking forward to trying the summer beergarden outside. Food/drink: My girlfriend and I ordered the Tiny Tuna Tacos, the Proper Poutine, the Carolina Fried Chicken and the Big and Bold Paddle to drink. The Tiny Tuna Tacos were very delicious, the cut of tuna was high quality and very fresh with just enough of crunch from the crispy taco shells. I really enjoyed this dish and would recommend it to someone looking for a refreshing bite to go along with their beer. The Proper Poutine tasted average and was enjoyable. However, it wasn't so much proper if you have had a proper French poutine before. The gravy was a little too sweet, typically poutine gravy is supposed to be a richer and darker sauce. The cheese curds were tasty but the gravy wasn't hot enough to fully melt the cheese curds. I do feel we weren't given enough gravy and cheese curds as it only covered the middle of the poutine. I had to request more curds and gravy for $5 which arrived cold. The Carolina Fried chicken was my favourite dish, I enjoyed the pickles and the seasoning of the chicken. The chicken had a nice crunch without it being overly greasy. The bun was fresh, warm and soft. In comparison to other friend chicken restaurants I feel the cut of chicken was too small for the price I paid. The Big and Bold paddle was delicious and very unique. I enjoyed trying several different international and local beers. I was happy with the large portion of beer pours, most restaurants do not provide enough beer on a paddle.
All in all, I was delighted by the service and the high quality food. I am looking forward to returning and trying new...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Beertown Public House in Brampton, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. I visited the restaurant around 12 PM on a Thursday with some colleagues from work, and we were greeted with impeccable service right from the start.
One of the standout aspects of our visit was the attentive and friendly service. The manager checked in with us several times to ensure that everything was to our liking. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided excellent recommendations. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was truly commendable and added to the overall positive dining experience.
We opted to sit outside in the patio section, which was bustling with activity due to the beautiful weather. Despite the busyness, the staff efficiently managed the crowd and ensured that everyone was attended to promptly. The vibrant atmosphere added a lively touch to our lunch outing.
When it comes to their beer selection, Beertown Public House does not disappoint. They offer a diverse range of beers, catering to various tastes and preferences. Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or looking for a refreshing lager, they have something for everyone.
As for the food, I ordered the fish and chips, and I found it to be quite enjoyable. The fish was cooked to perfection, with a crispy batter and tender flesh. However, one minor disappointment was the ketchup that accompanied the dish. It didn't appear to be Heinz, which I personally prefer. Although this didn't significantly impact my overall experience, it's worth mentioning for those who are particular about their condiments.
Despite the minor ketchup issue, the highlight of my visit to Beertown Public House was undoubtedly the outstanding service. The staff's attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and genuine care for their guests created a warm and welcoming environment.
In conclusion, Beertown Public House in Brampton offers an enjoyable dining experience with a great selection of beers and attentive service. Although the ketchup choice was not to my personal preference, it didn't overshadow the overall positive experience. If you're looking for a place to relax, savor good food, and enjoy a wide variety of beers, Beertown Public House is definitely...

Me: So you have no clue what you’re talking about.
If you are a casual beer drinker or less, and like predictable sport restaurant experiences, this place will do. If you have any understanding of/appreciation for/experience with drinking good beer, do not come here.

Me: Are you kidding me? Your name is Beertown!
Also, why does your website constantly reroute me to the (apparently closed, according to aforementioned staff member/mgr) Whitby location?
Finally, on the scolding I received, as a take-out customer, for grabbing beer out of the fridge in back… If you don’t want take-out customers grabbing beer out of a fridge that is not behind any wall or divider of any kind, perhaps you should invest in a sign informing customers that you don’t trust them enough to pick out their own beer and walk it to the behind-the-bar cash register three steps away.
Beertown? More like Boy’s Town.
