I've been going here for years and years, over the last year the resturant has been going majorly downhill. The staff are very cold and rude, the atmosphere of the place is completely draining and when directed the food can be good. Multiple times when ordering I've gotten burnt rice. When getting takeout you always have to pay for sauces when they should come with the meal. Today I went in to pickup my food after ordering it ahead of time and saying to make sure to actually fill my grilled cheese pita up with cheese. When I got there my pita was barely filled and the first inch of the circumference was just bread. I told the server that there was barely any cheese, when on the phone I specifically asked for the pita to be filled. She then talked to the manager and completely put words into my mouth. She was rude and the manager was even more rude. He told me to go to a different location. Way over priced for what you get. For 9 dollars for a small pita with just cheese it should have more than 2 thin slices. Not happy at all and I will no longer...
Read moreSecond time trying this place but was very disappointed. When you walk in, you would immediately realize that this place doesn’t have the warmest customer service. Owner looked very serious and gave off a vibe where you almost feel like you are an intruder rather than a customer. Food was good but definitely overpriced compared to Zesty Pita or Pita Nutso for the quality. It is understandable given this is an established restaurant with higher costs so I didn’t care as much about the price. Beyond the unwelcoming customer service and the overpriced food, what was most frustrating was the packaging of the food. The cook wraps the pita in an aluminum foil then carelessly toss it to the counter. It was then placed in a paper bag and handed to me. Not only 2 minutes later, oil started dripping through the foil and the bag, onto my pants and the leathered car seat. This was unexpected and extremely inconvenient. I rarely leave bad reviews or reviews in general, but I think this incident deserves some attention because it was...
Read moreJust visited this restaurant for take out. I phoned my order in and checked the price as it was’ cheaper souvlaki Wednesday’ and I’ve had issues before with hidden costs at this restaurant, the call taker insisted the chicken was the same price as the lamb, despite the web page saying otherwise. Fine. I arrive at the restaurant to be asked ‘would you be willing to pay cash’ no. Definitely not. Red flag. So I check the payment machine to make sure they take Amex. When I tap to pay, a note comes up saying that ‘Scotia Amex not accepted’ the waitress says oh yeah we take Amex but not that Amex. I challenged and said you can’t just exclude one bank’s Amex. Obviously I ended up using an alternative card. It was a simple order 2 souvlaki and sides. Got home to find one of the meals had the wrong side. The food tasted fine but the overall experience was negative. The dine in was virtually empty so zero...
