🪑 Plenty of Tables and Benches: The picnic site boasts plenty of tables and benches, providing ample seating for visitors. Whether you're planning a small gathering with friends or a family picnic, you'll find the perfect spot to enjoy your meal and soak in the park's beauty. 🍗 BBQ-Friendly Environment: One of the highlights of this picnic site is the option to bring your own BBQ stove for a delightful grilling experience. However, it's essential to stay informed about the latest BBQ regulations by checking the official website. Currently, there might be fire ban regulations in place, so it's crucial to be aware of any restrictions to ensure the safety of everyone. 🏕️ Reserved Sheltered Areas: If you're looking for a more private and sheltered experience, it offers two groups of tables and benches that can be reserved for a fee. This allows you to secure your preferred spot and enjoy your picnic without any worries. It's a great option for special occasions or when you simply want a more exclusive setting. ⏰ Timing Recommendations: If you plan on having a BBQ, I recommend starting earlier in the day. During my visit on Canada's National Day, I noticed an increase in flies from 18:00 onwards. Additionally, be mindful that the Fraser River experiences tidal fluctuations, which can impact the picnic site's surroundings. It's worth considering these factors when planning your visit to ensure a more pleasant experience.

Covered picnic tables. Plenty of benches and tables along the river’s edge. Volleyball setup with sand lot court - bring your own net, I guess. Not far from bathrooms. Lots of parking around but still a walk to the picnic areas. Great walking all year round.
