There's a cafe that sells delicious meals and the bathrooms are always clean. Staff are friendly and there's a wide range of performing arts classes for ALL ages. Lastly, the Shadbolt is situated beside Deer Lake. As a result, the surrounding space is gorgeous and constitutes a great place to get in touch with nature.

Currently, there is quite a bit of construction going on in their main parking lot to build onto the existing centre. There is additional free parking under the building on the East side with an elevator that takes you right up to the main floor.
Their silent film series is paired with a live score of various musicians. For ‘Faust’, we were treated to the magical sounds of Griefwalker. The soundscape was clearly well written and thoughtful to the plot of the movie. The theater itself is small and has decent acoustics. I always bring a pair of high fidelity ear plugs as I have sensitive ears (even for movie theaters!), but the band provided ear plugs as well.
