Absolute horrid way of dealing with issues. There was a large patch of ice in the middle of the walkway onto the foot bridge. It’s not visible due to being dark. My mom and daughter were walking towards the bridge, stepped right on it and immediately fell onto their backs and hit their heads. I called the number to let them know so it could be fixed. Whether that be with salt or a pylon. Something. The man who answered was incredibly dismissive and let me know he’d “try to get someone out to look at it tomorrow.” It is 7pm which means the park is open for another 5 hours. Many people will come through here in that time. Within 10 minutes as we were trying recoup and leave the area I witnessed 6 people fall the same way. I warned as many as I could. If you’d look at the Lions Festival of Lights website, or the news, or even just think for 2 seconds it might occur to you that the reason there were few lights this year is so that massive crowds don’t gather and mingle like usual so we don’t all give each other COVID!
