Portuguese Community Centre — Attraction in Calgary

Rented this space for a 2-day wedding a year in advance and had clear communication with the managers at the time. We had a clear agreement that their cleaners would handle cleanup the morning after the first day. No cleaners showed up, so our decorator cleaned the venue himself.

The morning after the second day, around 10am, I got a call from a man named John, yelling and insisting we hadn’t cleaned up the night before. I explained that cleaners were on their way. While the cleaners were working, he was very disrespectful to them and just kept on yelling at them.
