Subway — Restaurant in Calgary

I like Subway because they have stuck to their core product and still offer a good value for money. I like that you can pick out your own ingredients d that they give you some latitude as to how much onion, lettuce, tomatoes, Etc you take. I would like to know if the ingredients they use are locally sourced and I think it's important that we try to use our dollar to buy as many organically farmed vegetables as possible. without increasing the price too much. A&W uses cardboard straws I think this is a great idea and I would like to see more restaurants such a Subway had that to help lower the amount of trash we're throwing away needlessly I like that they have not over complicated their menu but have added new features like the Michael Buble Drink Machine . One Subway I visited lately had a box where you could put in a business card and win a free lunch as I don't have any business cards myself , I put in somebody else's that I had taken and not needed so hopefully they might get a nice surprise .I've also found that the service has always been friendly and efficient and the restaurants are always clean. I find Subway a familiar and comfortable choice that can be reasonably healthy , opposed to other fast food choices. In the past I have paid for two or three subs and asked the staff to give these to someone who might need them a homeless person or somebody who doesn't have enough money Etc. I'd like to see something more formal in place at any restaurant like subway where you could donate to a jar and it would be up to the staff 2 hand these out as they saw fit a way for them to increase their likability and client loyalty in the local communities they serve and it will also really help out...

Where do I start... HORRIBLE! The guy working first off already precut the bread and it is dried. The squished down my bread. I had to ask him not to toast it twice. Then when it came to veggies it was good and then sloped the sauces on I feel like it was a test on how fast he could make a sandwich. Then almost forgot the protein!!! I had to ask him not to forget it then he slopped that onto the sub. The other sub the bread is pretty stale and wow it looked like a child made the sub. I got home had to basically remake the sandwich and it fell apart in the wrapper as it wasn't wrapped properly and wow never never never again will I go there!! This is. Horrible. The workers are very kind but management needs to step up and do better. I’ve come in many different times (weekends, weekdays, daytime, evening, nighttime) and they are NEVER appropriately staffed. They only ever have one worker and online orders never get made. I should not have to wait 15 minutes after the latest pick up time from the subway app after placing an order half an hour ago. What is the purpose of online ordering if you end up having to wait triple the amount of time it takes to walk in. I’ve seen this happen to other people when ordering at the counter.
