Re: splash park - it is a recirculating water system that makes the park impractical for families. Plan to arrive and not know if the water is ready or not. Expect to wait upwards of 1-1.5 hours for it to work, maybe you will see water, maybe not. They did not put families first in the design of this park or something was designed wrong. It will be underutilized as a result. It may be an example of what happens when you apply overly zealous water conservation philosophies to a splash park. You get something impractical. The waterpark and playground both have washrooms really close by which is nice for younger children, and for older children, and for adults... when we went yesterday one of the parks was fun stuff so only the toddler park was available. The paths were nice to walk on. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because there’s no separation between the park/ water park and the road that goes all the way around the park, so if you have a runner for a child this might not be the best place...

The splash park gets pretty crowded on hot summer days but that is to be expected.
