Port Carling's premier beach park, good for walking your dog, or airing your sugar addled, smart phone addicted children on the extensive play structures... Local teens/delinquents? occasionally use the basketball court... Hurrah 4 them! Swimming is popular here too. Two smaller beach parks, Indian Crescent and Archdekin are also on the river to the north AND east, but with less facilities and capacities. For tourist interest, try walking around the downtown and small island with museum too. Those of you with feet and legs might try the 2.5 km Hazelwood trail on the north side of town... It's a nice spot with a small beach and roped off swimming area, although there was an advisory at the time. Lots of playground equipment that was closed because of covid. You have the option to sit in the shade from trees or find a sunny spot depending on your preference. It's open till 11:00. There are picnic benches to use.
