PSF’s elevated terrace above the iconic Port Carling locks offers stunning views while the sun and shade take turns bouncing between tables.. Superb wine and sparkling drinks. The Lamb is fantastic, exquisitely prepared by chef Andrew the Panko herb crust is savoury and crunchy complimented by a healthy portion of roots and seasonal vedge. Service was flawless and we are elated to see Naomi back whom is sure to elevate your dining experience as the perfect compliment to PSF’s elegant ambiance .. A beautiful meal in a beautiful place.

Truly an unparalleled Muskoka dining experience. Stunning patio views, attentive staff, creative drinks, and unforgettable food. The food really is exceptional; every dish showcases inventive culinary flair that rivals Toronto’s top-tier dining spots—yet here it is, right in the heart of Muskoka. Despite this high culinary standard, the portion sizes are more than generous—a huge bonus for me. Whether you’re looking for a casual summer lunch, or a memorable fine dining experience, Portside Fusion is a must-visit gem.

This spot is great for a fine dining in flavor with a comfortable and cozy environment. The service was great and it is located right on the water. I had the grilled octopus which i very much so enjoyed! I was recommended the Lamb pasta but it was lacking in flavor. Was more like ground meat on pasta. No real sauce but it wasn't terrible. It's a nice spot for a date night for sure 👍

Stay clear of this wannabe "fine dinning" restaurant. The greeter was very friendly, amazing, and accommodating. We sat on the outdoor uncovered patio which was a very nice view and setting. The waitress at the beginning started off really strong and friendly. Unfortunately as dinner plates came out, timing was super long from drinks and apps, food was sub-par, not hot, no flavour, scallops poorly executed. My burger came out 10 mins after the rest of my table was cold, but the fries were piping hot. Kids chicken finger portions are not the same. One received a nice portion size , while the other received left over crumbs. The waitress never asked how our meals were as I would have sent it back. Asked for ice cream for my three kids. Received two sorbet, and one chocolate melted ice cream, more like a milkshake. Why send this out like that? and charge $10 to boot? Our table piled high with dirty empty dishes and glasses The runner who ran out the ice cream could have collected some plates back. The waitress was given a better opportunity for a larger party and tip, and forgot about us completely. My father in law never received his side of fries. Will not eat here again if ever back in Port Carling. I was very interested to see that management served, and took really great care, of the older man who looked very well known to the venue and spent the big bucks there to be served on hand and foot while others stared and waited for their service. I did not expect this kind of service from this very nice looking place. I also didn't expect this kind of service when the venue was not that busy at all. We sat at 7:10 and left at 9 pm. No dessert as most items were out not did we want to be there any longer. $310 before tip....

Our dining experience was quite miserable because of the staff’s intentional neglect. We entered the restaurant behind another group, who was immediately seated by the hostess. She didn’t attend to us after seating this group although it was unlikely that she didn’t see us.

In front of us was the bartender behind the bar, 2 other wait staff and the manager (acted like he was - in charge, but didn’t do much) who was chatting with his staff. None of them looked toward us presumably, to avoid eye contact and to avoid having to serve us. While they each have specific roles, they are all nevertheless, part of customer service! We waited some more (over 5 minutes had passed), and I finally said loudly ‘how can we get some help’! We were consistently polite and courteous during our dining experience.

We had reservations.

The manager got someone to seat us eventually. He refused to seat us. We noted that later in the evening we saw him seat others!

I won’t speculate as to why.

The wait staff was marginally better.

The food was mediocre on balance. The pasta with mushroom (mafaldine pasta) was good. The side order of chicken was burnt and dry. It took more than 45 minutes before the meal was served.

Not only do I not recommend this restaurant, I recommend against this restaurant. I need to be more discerning about what businesses to support. Port Fusion is a poor reflection of Port Carling!

On the other hand, across the street is Beveragino, who has offered far better dining experiences in the past few years. The food is also far superior. They are closed...

Stopped in thought we would give Port Carling newest restaurant a go after hearing very good things from a few friends.

Started off with Calamari, which I ended up ordering 2 of and the Shishido Peppers. The Calamari was delicious lightly breaded and not fried too much served with the Jalapeño yogurt. The Peppers which my wife ordered were also delicious I was told they would be somewhat spicy but for me they weren't the dip they make for the peppers is also really good.

For mains I ordered a Steak, whenever I see prime steak on a menu I cannot resist... and was it ever good. (actually the reason I am writing this review) Did not expect this from a small restaurant in Port Carling. The sauce they make for the steak is out of this world, Red Wine reduction sauce. I spoke with the owner on my way out and he told me it takes the chefs 3 days to make. (time very well spent in my opinion).

My wife ordered the trout and has been talking about it about for the last 3 days. From the small bit I got to taste I can concur. Execution was perfect, and I know how hard fish can be to cook.

Service was excellent very attentive and very friendly. I can't recall the last time I was this impressed with a restaurant not knowing what to expect. We will be going back next week have already booked our reservation. I know what Im getting again but will mix up the starters.

I can see why everyone is talking about this place and hope it is around for many more years to come.

A must try if you're...
