Had a great time at Crystal Beach. The area is well maintained, with soft, clean sand that’s perfect for walking barefoot. The water was clean and clear. There is an entrance fee of $10-15 (cant remember right now - check thrir website), and security does check bags at the gate, which adds a layer of safety and helps keep the beach clean and family-friendly. I’d recommend visiting on a weekday or a regular non-holiday—those times are much quieter. On holidays, it tends to get very crowded. Overall, it’s a secure and enjoyable beach experience.
