The Gallery is small but charming space that I'm glad I didn't overlook.
During my visit, the gallery was quiet, which gave me the chance to really take in the art without distraction. The staff member on duty was friendly, offering tidbits of information when asked but otherwise letting me browse in peace.
I was drawn to a landscape painting by John Beatty that reminded me of a place I used to visit as a child.
The staff were upfront about the price, which was reasonable, and they explained the artist's background, which made the piece even more special to me.
I didn't make a purchase that day, but I left with a couple of artist cards to follow up on. Rookleys Canadian Art is a pleasant spot for art enthusiasts and casual browsers alike.

It made me feel really good inside to see collections of Canadian artists, styles, as well as topics painted. I like the high ceiling and lighting that draws attention to individual paintings. The gallery itself is located in a more relax environment that makes the Canadian exhibit even more welcoming for everyone to visit and enjoy Canadian Art at its best as well as local amenities to discover nearby.
