Carnegie Gallery — Attraction in Hamilton

The staff here are so wonderful and instead of following my daughter around making sure she didn't break anything they interacted with her and let her try on hats and mitts and jewellery and made her feel welcome and special beyond that the art fair is lovely the glasswork is stunning their arrangement of the multitude of pieces has been distributed nicely over the gallery and the exterior of the building is majestic and historic there's so much to be said about this lovely location but again the staff really bring the experience...

A really nice but small not-for-profit, artist-run gallery and gift shop. I've seen three shows there now. The art is of mixed quality, but there are always a few gems, the space is great, the work is always displayed really well, and admission is free.
