Update... The second visit was Fantastic, They had all the soups we wanted, they were all great. The Cubano Sandwich was fantastic. The service was great as well. This is what I expected. The first visit was just a blip. I will be back again soon.

Old Review First time was a disappointment. The soup was great. The staff were not friendly. When we asked for the soup we wanted, we were bluntly told no. After a 10-15 seconds of us looking confused by the blunt answer, they explained that they were out of 2 soups. It was 5:30 on a Tuesday, and you close at 9. I ended up with the Pork Posole Rojo and a half Buffalo Chicken GC. The soup was great, the sandwich was mediocre. My wife got a full smoked Turkey and Provolone without soup as they didn't have what she wanted. Hers was mediocre as well. You would expect a place known for it's soups and sandwiches to always use quality ingredients. Unfortunately, they used lunch meat instead of real turkey. The turkey was even just clumped on, unevenly. The care taken to make the food was not there. I will say they had a bunch of pickup orders right after we got there and I overheard they were short a person, but I would rather wait an extra few minutes to get quality than get poor...

Been wanting to try for a while. Finally got around to it this evening. Dined in and had the tlokhe and half buffalo chicken sandwich. My wife had the roasted garlic potato soup and a cheeseburger. Everything was exceptionally tasty. However my wife had to send her burger back because they put the wrong toppings on it. The staff were very polite and quickly made her a new burger. In the meantime though, they forgot about my sandwich until my wife reminded them when she returned her burger. They promptly made the sandwich and the server said “sorry” (Lol). He seemed to be struggling to speak English which might account for that. Anyway the food was good but pricey considering it’s kinda cafeteria style and the soup is served in paper bowls. All in all the total was $42.00 (plus tip) for 1 small soup, 1 med. soup, 1 cheeseburger and 1/2buffalo chicken sandwich with 2 pop. I would like to return, but probably won’t (maybe for lunch if I happen to be in town) since I’m from out of town and it’s kinda pricey for soup and sandwiches for dinner. Definitely worth a try...

I really enjoy the food here, which is why I keep coming back. I have both dined in and ordered delivery, but my experiences with this location have been getting worse with every order. I had a gift card that I was trying to use. Not one of the 3 employees working knew how to accept a gift card. I got a moldy bun. My order was missing add ons that I paid for and had items that were supposed to be omitted. Nothing complex, extra cheese, no hot sauce. Same order, they were out of a main topping for a sandwich and just left a note in the bag. My delivery was supposed to be 20 minutes and it took an hour. (I live 5 minutes away.) I really hope this location improves because it's really nice having them as an...

Never judge a book by its cover goes the old adage. It applies here! What a fabulous culinary discovery! It is quaint with limited tables. The service is fast and efficient. The menu is health-focused. The soups 🍲 are hearty and rival a high-end Bistro. I had the chicken mulligatawny. It was, in fact, the best I have eaten, quite authentic, and so flavourful. choices are a bun, carrot sticks or an apple. I had the apple 🍎 that tasted fresh-picked. There was a constant flow of people picking up, so take-out is available and florishing! Staff are congenial and bring your food to the table.

I loved this small restaurant. The cashier/waitress was friendly and efficient. Their classic burger was juicy and tasty, if a little small, but then it is only 8 CAD. And then we get to the butternut squash soup. It instantly became my very favorite fall soup. The taste was more like the idea of home-cooked festivity. If you are not one of those people who would get fussy when their soup tastes more like a pudding, definitely give it a try.
