KNC Nails — Attraction in Hamilton

The worst manicure I have ever had. Obviously, they only know how to do shallac or bio gel, not a regular nail polish. I never had a regular manicure where they used a hand tool to smooth out my nail, now my nail is so thin. I went two weeks ago, had someone else, same thing, they do not know how to apply regular nail polish, it's manicure 101. Last week the women was insisting that I get shallac and I can't for reasons and finally I had to say, I heard you and then explained why I can't. Yesterday, I had someone else, when she was applying the nail polish, it was all streaks! We both noticed, she stated it need 2 coats, the again, a 3rd coat. I though it was the nail polish, watery, so I went to look for another color, she proceeded to get the owner who approached me and asked what was the matter, I was surprised at the approach and then I showed her the terrible manicure I received and she stated that she charges to get a nail polish change. I showed her my manicure and asked her you are going to charge me for this? So then she proceeded to tell me this is happening because I have chosen a light color. I advised her that I use light colors all the time. So, then she stated that I can use another color no charge. When I sat down they were talking in their Korean language and talking about me, very rude. I did let her know that I did not appreciate it and didn't like what just happened. I did get an OPI light pink and again the streaks, and I watched this time and I noticed it was how she was applying the nail polish. So, it was not the nail polish but the person applying the nail polish. Also, the dish were you put your hand in water was cold. She was finished and put the tools in that water, but she noticed something, grabbed the dish, took the tools out and put my hand back in.

I noticed in other reviews that had complaints the owner responded in a combat response instead of apologizing for the negative experience. I'm sure she will do this with this review. This is the same owner that when I met her for the first time talked negatively about one of her staff who left. I will not be going back. it was ok when I was getting the bio gel, not...

Eduted to add my response: I did not once yell I am professional and I apologized to the tech if she misunderstood my request for a natural manicure. I did not become rude and left a 5 dollar tip even complemented the mural and said happy holidays i wasn’t asked or informed about bio gel once she just apologized saying she thought I was there for a fill which I clearly booked my service as a natural manicure. I have never mistreated a person working with the public in my life and am absolutely horrified a business would make things up. Due to an honest experience review . I was not expecting the wrong service at all. I’m used to a higher quality. The fact the salon is lying about how I treated them speaks volumes. I wished everyone a merry Christmas as at the time I thought my manicure would last like it should be. I get this all the time with no issues. Your lies is truly disheartening and speaks volumes on how you feel about people paying for your services. I support all crown point businesses but yours does not deserve the support wheb you blame someone being kind to your staff abs giving you a chance to future business. I am appalled that you could be this cruel when on video it’s clear it’s not factual at all.

First time here, staff was nice except for trying to force me to have bio gel on my nails! They also drilled my nails when I said not to I wanted a NATURAL manicure with shellac polish it’s been 4 days and it’s falling apart on each finger for no reason at all. I go to Po’s in Stoney creek and have never had this happen I pay a bit more for natural nails to last a month at a time ! They don’t put enough coats of shellac on. the quality here is not acceptable or recommended. If you have ever had a quality manicure you would definitely notice a really huge difference in quality. This is the worst quality manicure I have had in 30 years. You clearly get what you pay for … my mistake for forgetting to pre Book at my normal place - only two stars because they were nice So...

Horrible service. I had Kelly for bio gel. I mentioned to her multiple times that my nails were crooked and she ignored me. I kept letting her know that I was not happy with how she was shaping my nails and she handed me a file and told me to do it myself. The bio gel was not picked up as a bead it was piled onto my fingers with about 5 different layers. When it was time to file it down it was so misshaped and thick that it wouldn’t file down smoothly. I’m not one to criticize but I have had my nails done enough times to know that there was no skill to what she was doing. It was a mess. When it came time to pay I said to the manager there should be at least a $5 off for the fact that I was handed a file and told to fix my own nails because she couldn’t figure out how to make them straight. The manager screamed at me and did not take any moment to hear me explain how awful the entire experience was. Don’t even get me started on the hygienic issues I saw - I’ll be calling the Hamilton health department. $75 for the worst experience and worst nail job...
